Followed youtube video and when together controller doesnt work narrowed it down to the left wire you fit, removed and works again can you explain?

Only thing I can think of is maybe you don’t have the right model connector placed in it? Honestly not too sure, my first time getting a little technical and luckily enough had no problems, just make sure the connector matches the model of your console because they supply connectors for old model consoles and newer ones too you should have both
