Solid and sturdy
Product was easy to install and the jack is solidly constructed. I have only 2 small quibbles; 1) The bolts were actually a bit longer than I needed for my trailer; better too long than too short. 2) The brackets, while adequate for a strong installation, will deform if over-torqued. A slightly heavier gage metal would solve this.The mechanism operates smoothly and has an exceptional range of travel.

My boat came with a very cheap wheel Jack. Didn’t Jack the boat up high enough for my truck and it seemed so flimsy I worried it may break.This was the solution. 2000lbs, much taller, and it feels safe. The only thing for anyone else doing what I did…. My stock Jack was built into my trailer so it was a little work to replace. I had to drill the pin holes a bit bigger because this is a thicker 2000lb pin. I was able to do that on my trailer without compromising strength of the trailer itself but some trailers may be built differently. Make sure you know what you are doing. I did, but your trailer may be different.
