Nothing Better Than Gym Friends (Perfect Balance Gymnastics Series Book 2)

My 8 year old daughter who is a gymnast) and I are reading this series together. We are on book #3 and loving it! The books are well written and realistic and each story holds your attention and leaves you wanting to keep reading. Highly recommend! It’s also worth noting that my daughter reads at a higher than average level, so I would recommend these books for kids reading at a minimum of a 4th or 5th grade reading level.

My granddaughter, age10, gets "bored" by a lot of things, but not this series of books. She is in gymnastics & loves these books!She started reading it immediately & read into the night,, something I remember doing when a youngster. I'm so glad it's a series, because now I know for sure it's something she likes that we can keep giving her-always wondered about other things we've been giving her, as we only see her one month a year, <sigh>

I love that this book is well written and accurate to real life gymnastics experiences. My 6 year old level 2 loves these books and the characters. Great book and well written. But a bit overpriced.

Such a sweet story line. The wording is a bit "attitude-y" for my 6 year old who read it. The dialog between the girls is completely normal for that age group probably, but a little much for a first time mom. Lol.

My 9 year old daughter loves gymnastics and loves this series of books! She got one for Christmas and one for her birthday and she was so excited!!!

My daughter has the whole series. She reads them constantly. Great book series for girls who happen to be athletes

Right out if the gates this book starts off on a very negative tone and it struggles to recover. Especially for little girls whom may not have experienced exclusions from friends or groups. The presentation of this concept combined with the odd cult like "gymnastics friends" feel at the beginning was tough to understand how people moved past the 1st night of reading.

My daughter bought the first book and loved it so, we ordered the 2nd and she devoured it in a day. We just ordered the 3rd book and are waiting for the 4th to come out. It is positive and fun and empowering for her to read. Although she no longer takes gymnastics (she just became a 1st Degree Black Belt), she still is interested in the story and the characters. I would highly recommend this book.
