Q: Could this be used on microfiber used in the kitchen (come in contact with food)?

Yes perfect to clean and restore microfiber towels.

Q: Does this harm the washer? Should the washer be cleaned after use?

This product is safe for all washing machines and is just a detergent. No need to clean after each use.

Q: Is R2R used by itself in the washing machine ? Or is it used in addition to your laundry detergent ?

It would replace whatever you're using today to wash your Microfiber towels. You no longer need a clear/free detergent. R2R replaces that and does a much better job. Pro tip - Do a pre-soak of you towels in a 5 bucket of water with 2-3oz. Use warm water. let them sit for 24hrs. 1/2 way thru...stir them up and squeeze them out. you'll be amazing what comes out of them. Yuck

Q: the directions say to soak the towels in a bucket of water , using 2oz.. My question is how big/small should the bucket be? Standard 5gals?

3-5 gallons is fine to pre-soak the towels.
