Great low cost starter steadicam.
This gimbal support system is great and can be built up many different ways. Make sure to get the shoulder strap mod from YT.

Not sturdy or reliable!
This product began to fall apart within 30 minutes to an hour of using it on a job. Very disappointing! Was hopeful, but… I returned it.

Great but Lack essentials of the kit
How Tilta don't include the Shoulder support , docking station or QR plate adapter is beyond me. Maybe the last one is a bit too nit picky but the Shoulder support is definitely a must because this setup weighs quite a bit and without it not only is all that pain in your lower back but also your aren't going to be any smoother than just using the gimbal alone. I'll also take some points away for the lack of an instruction manual /parts listOtherwise all the included products are top tier quality . This product isn't a gimmick that will have no use after a few months of releases, and a lot of the parts included can be used for different individual stabilizing systems or DIY setups and so far I have been using mine more without the gimbal and post but rather just the arm and adapter to to stabilize some handheld rigs instead of an easyrigOverall well built item that would be a 5/5 if it wasn't for the excluded yet CRITICAL Shoulder support . Be prepared for the learning curve and setup time . Definitely not your quick run and gun rig

A step in the right direction for filmmaking.
Being that I have been a steadicam operator for close to two years; This product looked super interesting. I had to pull the trigger on the RS2 for a project that required a gimbal in tight quarters. After continuing to be targeted by advertisements for the Float system. I finally ordered it.I’ve only used it on one project and with little to no experience using it; The results were mind-blowing. After another production, I’ll make my money back on my investment. Not to mention, when the word gets out to past crews that I have worked with; I’ll have an entirely new avenue of work.If you’re thinking about buying this. Do it. Especially if you have the RS2 and V-Mounts already.
