Great sealer!
This stuff is legit. Water beads like glass. It doesn’t go as far as you might expect so if you aren’t sure, order extra. For my 800sf driveway I used one gallon of concentrate and one gallon of RTU, about $300 in total. Can’t speak to longevity, but it definitely works and dries invisible, maybe even a little brighter. I power washed my driveway before i applied it and used a 3/8” nap roller. The concrete soaks it up fast so it doesn’t spread very far. Second coat i applied 5-10 minutes later and it’s spreads a little better. Don’t let it puddle. If it lasts more that 5 years, I’ll be very happy.

Works great, quick and easy application!
Summary: this is a great product, worth the effort and expense if you need to protect your concrete from chemical exposure or water absorpsion. It's easy to apply by a pump up sprayer, brush, roller, sponge, or whatever you prefer. I had some puddling of the product, from over application, and a broom worked great for redistribution. For my new, 4 month old, broom finished concrete, it took substantially less product than the general recommendation. Note that it does state 'porosity' of what your applying it to is the main factor regarding coverage rate. i.e. your mileage will vary! It's important to follow the directions and apply a second coat while the first coat is still wet. More on that below. Naturally, the second coat required less product than the first. I can barely see a difference in the look of my concrete after application... until it's wet, which causes beading and considerable resistance to absorpsion. I treated another concrete pad the following day and sprayed some of the leftover product on a small portion of the previously treated concrete (pool deck) and immediately noticed puddling and lack of absorpsion. Only time will tell how long the protection will last for my pool deck. If I get 5+ years before needing to reapply, then it's well worth it.

Fantastic product! Highly recommend!
I am very impressed with the ghostshield products! The water just beads and rolls off. I used the 4500 densifier, then put this 8500 sealer down on my driveway. I applied it using a pump sprayer. Working in small areas applying two wet coats. With no foot or heavy traffic for 36 hours.

It works!
Water beads up on 3 month old paver patio after an easy application using a roller. Excellent customer service.

Works great, easy to apply.
Easy to apply with a tank sprayer. Coverage is as advertised. Water simply beads up on the concrete. I have used a leaf blower to move the water off my treated concrete patio.

Excellent reviews for sealant and durability
It was purchased to seal an existing concrete driveway after power washing all the dirt and grime off it. I had originally planned to use a sprayer to apply Ghostshield 8500 but used a paint roller instead, due to it being windy on application day. I purchased the 1 gal concentrate and mixed with 4 gal of distilled water per the manufactures recommendation. The product mixed easily with the distilled water and was easy to apply using a roller (just a longer process than spraying). It has not discolored the drive nor made it slippery. It has rained a few times since I applied it and the water is definitely not penetrating. As for how long it lasts that remains to be seen as it has only been on for two weeks.

Awesome
This product works!!!!! It works on concrete and stone. Period end!!! We put this on our Tennessee field stone coping around our pool. Our issue was the fieldstone will flake off if water gets under the layers. I wish I knew that before using it as coping around my pool. We used the stone on the fireplace which is on the patio as well to match. Anyways, the water just beads up like the picture shows. This is about 9 months later so I can not attest to the longevity of it but here is the deal. I got a gallon of the concentrated stuff to make 5 gallons. I mixed it in a 5 gallon bucket from Lowes. I did three coats around a 18 x 36 pool and a hot tub and I still have 4 gallons left. I used a paint roller and my wife got in the Pool and put the stuff on the edges. We used a big container lid in the Pool to catch the drippings that fell. No question it was a 2 person job for a pool. Now the down side is....we were not quite as detailed on the edges on the concrete.......well it works there too! You do notice the color difference on the concrete when it rains....it's whiter. But zero difference when it's not wet. BTW no color difference on the stone at all. However be sure not allow it to dry between coats. It will give a cloudy look to the stone dry or wet. If you want to seal stone or concrete. This is the stuff!!!!

EASY application and no change in appearance
VERY simple to apply, and dries quickly. After power-washing, I resealed a 5-yr old driveway & front walk. I used the gallon concentrate (makes 5-gal) and it was really easy to mix. I planned to use standard garden sprayer (which would have been perfect for the viscosity of Ghostshield 8500) but I chose to use a roller to prevent overspray. Directions say 5-gal will cover 1,200 square feet with 2 coats applied as directed. I found this to be pretty accurate. I just applied yesterday and it hasn't rained yet, so I can't rate the water resistence or longetivity yet. However, I can add one add'l comment... Though it appears to dry quickly, Ghostshield recommends protecting application from rain for 24 hrs. In either case, when it appears dry, there's absolutely no change to the color or appearance of the concrete; a great result, since we like the original appearance didn't want it to darken after sealing. Ghostshield truly lives up to it's name. Also, worried about applying Ghostshield and having leaves stick to the concrete? (Like it or not, it's that time of year again.) Well, don't be! Ghostshield penetrates pores of the concrete to seal, it's not a sticky top-coat.
