solid and stable.
The most important thing to me is that I have confidence that it won't tip over, and slip out from under me. It's welded and stable, it doesn't creak or rattle. I have confidence using it.I'm not sure how long to vinyl cover on the top will last, but if it gets worn, it looks like it will be easy to replace.The rubber feet are important to me. I plane to use this on a hard floor, and I need to to stay still.I would easily recommend this.

wish the top were larger dimension
I like this step, but I wish I would have bought one that had a larger dimension on top. I'm a female with small feet and I don't think I would feel comfortable doing jumps onto it or laterals over the step.I should have done more research before buying

Buy it, you won't regret it. I am 5'2" and got the 18 inch box for step-ups and squats (lightly tough the seat with the back of my butt) because at age 47 you ain't trying to squat butt to grass.
