Goolsky WP-1060-RTR Waterproof Brushed 2S-3S 60A ESC for 1/10 Tamiya Traxxas Redcat HSP HPI RC Car

Ordered the Tamiya grasshopper for my son from another seller, and when we got it the box had been opened and the oem speed controller had been removed before we received it. Seller blew us off and Didn't want to spend additional forty dollars on the oem speed controller. Came upon this one, had good ratings so figured we'd try it. Not sorry we did! Perfect fit for the grasshopper, an functions flawlessly. The BEC circuit is nice and feeds your receiver with power from the throttle cord, eliminating the need for battery cord to your receiver. Has variable throttle fwd, and both brake and reverse. After going Fwd pull back once on the throttle for brake, and twice for reverse. Has the correct battery coupler for Tamiya, and even has the ability to take a racing motor, and take 540- or 550 motors to 8t I believe. Son has already gotten it serious wet, muddy, and driven it thru charcoal ash pile. So I can attest to the waterproof, dust proof claims. Never stopped ticking.

Receiver works fine, but the switch mount point is not directly compatible with the Grasshopper, nor are the switch wires long enough

I have three of these in different 1/10th scale Tamiya RCs (Subaru Brat, Blackfoot and Grasshopper). They have been fantastic no issues burning out running 2S LiPo or NiMH batteries.

Used this as a replacement for my 1/10 car. Went to put it in reverse and it stopped working and wire began to melt. Hooked it up to a power supply and saw it was drawing 10 amps! Worst electrical component I ever bought.

I purchased this after the Tamiya Grashopper kit I purchased as a present arrived without the promised ESC. This unit works beautifully, is easy to install, and comes with easy to follow instructions. Very nice unit for the price.

Burnt out on me after a couple runs on 2s. Blah

Smooth control in forward and reverse. No overheating. Support is non-existent. Power leads are all black and red with no labels. The voltage input is the two pin white connector. The motor outputs are the two single wires with bullet connectors.

Easy to set up fwd, reverse and brake in 3 different modes. Very good quality.
