I was complaining to Grok and asking it if there were any rotaries which had more space for holding hair as mine would continuously get clogged and need to be emptied a number of times per shave. I have tried FreeBird as well as bulldog and have had the same problems, with FreeBird being the worst of the two for cheap heads and having them go dull extremely quickly. After using the LifeProof, I will not be going back to rotary in the foreseeable future. I have been using it a few weeks now and it is much easier, shaves closer, and I could likely go a month or more without ever cleaning the thing. It is long-lasting, and if something ever happens to this I will simply buy another. I very much like this one, I get it done in about 5 minutes per day and the close shave and ease of use make it a very much non-hassle so it gets done everyday or every other day and I don't run into problems because it is a pain. 100% recommend, would absolutely buy again.

Vastly superior to most other electrics, including the better-known and more expensive brands like Braun, Norelco, and Remington, IMO. I prefer a traditional wet shave, but this foil shaver does a decent job when I'm in a hurry. Otherwise, I mainly use it for trimming eyebrows, mustache, and those pesky ear and nose hairs. It holds a charge longer than I expected, and it gives a close shave (for an electric) without irritation, but it's not suitable for below-the-belt grooming. It's waterproof and can be used wet or dry.

I've had this for several weeks now. It's a good little razor and a great value. I had a Braun with a similar foil configuration for >10 yrs prior and was looking for the same thing. But I could only find Braun's with 3 rotary heads and a separate attachment for trimming long hair. I didn't want to hassle with separate attachments and this one was so inexpensive I thought I'd give it a try. Above the jaw line it shaves very close and smooth and well. On my neck I feel like I can't ever get it to produce as smooth a shave as the old Braun. The long hair trimmer works well but the trimmer doesn't quite extend to the edges like the old Braun did. This is actually a bit inconvenient when trying to get that stray hard to reach hair in an odd nook. I'm happy with it for now. Once charged I can go a week without recharging. NOTE: it won't turn on while plugged in!! The instructions don't mention this (at least not clearly) and I was going crazy trying to figure out why my brand new razor wouldn't work. Eventually I unplugged the charging cable and it worked just fine.

I usually buy Remington Foil Shavers, but their pop-up trimmers always seem to break. So I saw that this Wahl Foil Shaver had a different style of pop-up trimmer, and decided to try it. I must say that I was skeptical at first, but so far it has proven to be more secure than the Remington product. I shaves nice too, and it's easy to clean.

First and last electric razor. I have to go over my facial hair like 3-4 different directions and it just doesn't trim the hair. In the end no matter how hard I try I don't get a nice or consistent shave and it takes longer than traditional shaving. I've read this is just how all electric shavers are. Totally not worth it. Would not recommend. Just do your traditional shave because this one doesn't leave me presentable enough to just do a quicky shave with it.

In comparison to other electric shavers (2 that were between $250 & $300) that are supposedly the best, this one by far is a better product. The only noticeable difference is the plastic feels a little cheap compared to other sturdier shavers. The cost alone had me wanting to buy another just to store away for when my original no longer works. I can't attest to the durability of this product yet but so far it shaves perfectly and effectively. With every electric shaver I've had there has been some difficulty getting rid of the hairs on my neck including this one but I'll use the pop up trimmer and then a safety razor afterwards. Again, with the price of this compared to the Br••• shavers I had, this one didn't pull hairs out (what an uncomfortable feeling that is), gives an amazing shave and is a quarter of the price. Try it out. I look for things that work perfectly so I don't have to continue to search, I've found a perfect electric shaver. ****UPDATE**** One year later, well almost, the foil has broken on me for the SECOND TIME. It seems the cutter block had caught the foil and made a tiny gouge in it deeming the shaver practically useless unless you want to rip hairs from your face. The first time was about 4 months ago. I called WAHL directly and spoke to a very helpful representative who was willing to and did send me a replacement foil for free within a couple of days. Although she tried to blame me by saying I pressed too hard on my face with the shaver, I'm pretty sure that wasn't the case. Especially nowTthat it's happened for a second time. I'll call again and see what they say but it's now becoming a little bit of an inconvenience. I guess the fact remains that you get what you pay for. Now I'm back on Amazon researching electric shavers again.....

I've been a fan of Wahl ever since my parents would cut my hair with Wahl clippers back in the day. Wahl in my mind is associated with hair and shaving ever since I remember. This charges and performs easily. I love the catchy yellow color too.

Great shaver. Clean close shave. Not a big electric shaver fan but this shaver has won me over.

Hubby likes it! The charge seems to last fairly long too!

Awesome right out of the box! Its very hard to beleive this lasts longer on a charge, shaves closer and is easier to clean than my 450 dollar panasonic shaver! Bought on a whim and am useing it daily. Recomending obviously! Keeping an eye on Wahl line of shavers !

Seems to be well made. Shaves very well. I am happy.
