I've been a fan of Wahl ever since my parents would cut my hair with Wahl clippers back in the day. Wahl in my mind is associated with hair and shaving ever since I remember. This charges and performs easily. I love the catchy yellow color too.

I bought this shaver almost 2 months ago and charged it fully the first day. I have not had to charge it since and used it every day. Great battery. And with the floating head, it makes for a great shave too. Highly recommended.

UPDATE 07/20/2017 - the foil already failed and it is impossible to find replacement foil, all I'm fining is foil and blades for $30 - half of what I originally paid. Bought this one because long battery life and waterproof. My previous electric was a 3 circular head Norelco that was not wet/dry. First thing I noticed is the Wahl is super loud compared to the Norelco. Second thing I noticed was that it gave a fairly decent shave. Not as close as I had hoped for, but better than the Norelco. Third thing - battery life lives up to it's promise. I have had it for 2 weeks, shave every morning, and have not needed to charge. This model has a middle section to cut longer hairs. I did notice that when missing one day of shaving, I did not have to continuously go over the same section - this design worked to shear the longer hairs then smooth out the cut with minimal passes. The design seems durable. Wahl claims "indestructible" - will be intersting to see how that claim holds true over time. One problem is that it caused acne on my chin. It might be the combination of shaving in a hot shower and the soap getting into the pores. All in all - recommend unless you are looking for the closest shave - in that case get a model that has three blades instead of this model with 2 blades and a 3rd that only cuts long hairs. UPDATE: After a month of using the shaver - the BIGGEST problem is that when the battery is close to dead, this thing just dies. The battery does not slowly go out as advertised. It simply quits (granted, you can turn it on and it works for about 1 second). So you know those mornings when you're running late and expecting to shower and shave and go? Those are the days that this thing will decide to quit half way through your shave.

This is an excellent razor that I am very happy with. I shaved with Brauns for years but they stopped selling one with the pop up trimmer on the side. My new Wahl has this and gives a terrific shave. I highly recommend it.

First and last electric razor. I have to go over my facial hair like 3-4 different directions and it just doesn't trim the hair. In the end no matter how hard I try I don't get a nice or consistent shave and it takes longer than traditional shaving. I've read this is just how all electric shavers are. Totally not worth it. Would not recommend. Just do your traditional shave because this one doesn't leave me presentable enough to just do a quicky shave with it.

In comparison to other electric shavers (2 that were between $250 & $300) that are supposedly the best, this one by far is a better product. The only noticeable difference is the plastic feels a little cheap compared to other sturdier shavers. The cost alone had me wanting to buy another just to store away for when my original no longer works. I can't attest to the durability of this product yet but so far it shaves perfectly and effectively. With every electric shaver I've had there has been some difficulty getting rid of the hairs on my neck including this one but I'll use the pop up trimmer and then a safety razor afterwards. Again, with the price of this compared to the Br••• shavers I had, this one didn't pull hairs out (what an uncomfortable feeling that is), gives an amazing shave and is a quarter of the price. Try it out. I look for things that work perfectly so I don't have to continue to search, I've found a perfect electric shaver. ****UPDATE**** One year later, well almost, the foil has broken on me for the SECOND TIME. It seems the cutter block had caught the foil and made a tiny gouge in it deeming the shaver practically useless unless you want to rip hairs from your face. The first time was about 4 months ago. I called WAHL directly and spoke to a very helpful representative who was willing to and did send me a replacement foil for free within a couple of days. Although she tried to blame me by saying I pressed too hard on my face with the shaver, I'm pretty sure that wasn't the case. Especially nowTthat it's happened for a second time. I'll call again and see what they say but it's now becoming a little bit of an inconvenience. I guess the fact remains that you get what you pay for. Now I'm back on Amazon researching electric shavers again.....

Bought for husband.His old one quit working,it was worn out.He said the new one works great.his face felt smooth.

Bought this shaver to replace my 10-year-old Norelco, and I've been using it for about two months now I like the bright yellow color - if you're travelling, you're less likely to leave it behind. It shaves nice and close - leaving my face as smooth as a baby's bottom. So far I've never had a problem with battery life. I think I've charged it twice since I've had it, and it was fully charged in half an hour. The shaver's very easy to clean - remove the head, tap the head and body against each other, and you're done. I haven't used it "wet", although you can. This shaver does its best job when used daily. Sometimes I'd let my beard grow for two or three days and my old Norelco would chop it right off. Shaving takes longer with this one if you've neglected shaving for a day or two. One thing I wish they'd change is the charge indicator, which is a bright blue dot that makes it hard to tell if the LED underneath is on or not. All in all, though, I'm very happy with it. CORRECTION: The blue dot on the charge indicator is actually a sticker. When peeled off, the indicator is invisible unless the shaver is charging.

Awesome right out of the box! Its very hard to beleive this lasts longer on a charge, shaves closer and is easier to clean than my 450 dollar panasonic shaver! Bought on a whim and am useing it daily. Recomending obviously! Keeping an eye on Wahl line of shavers !

Seems to be well made. Shaves very well. I am happy.

It takes a while for a good clean shave approx 10 -15 minutes! The charge lasts a long time & the fit fits well with my hands! The price is right but probably works best on a person with light beard? May not be suitable for a heavy, thick beard?
