I'm 6'3" and plump, so I was concerned these wouldn't work well for me. But I needed a nice looking pair of suspenders for a wedding so I gave them a shot. I'm very happy I did. I will be ordering more of them from the same maker because I love them; at least the look and feel anyway. They are thin and the straps are very nice looking. My one concern is with the clasps however, the one in the back frequently comes off, most often getting in and out of the car. This can be a bug or a feature however. What they aren't doing is slowly causing my pants to wear at the attachment points like the industrial kind I wear most often. I wear those because they basically never come apart and with my line of work, it's sort of embarrassing if that happens.In good conscience I can't give these 5 stars even though I know I'm going to order at least a couple more pair of them in the coming weeks. The clamp just isn't tight enough, even if it is very gentle on my clothing.

While they worked, they worked very well. Unfortunately, the third time I wore them the snap on the back came loose while I was driving. I was wearing them without too much tension; just enough to hold my jeans in place without pulling down on my shoulders, so I didn't notice that they were loose when I got out of the car. The snap or buckle is in three pieces, two of which are held in place by the third. When they are loose and pulled on by a parka, they can and did come apart and were lost. I bought these for full-time use since I have reached an age where my waist is starting to approximate my hips in size and a belt is either uncomfortable or unsuccessful. I think they would be quite useful for uses that were more limited or where the release of the snap would be immediately noticeable, but for full-time use, I think I'll be sewing buttons on my pants in the future.

Got these for my sister's wedding and they looked great, and did the job ...AFTER I had to repair two of the three clamps after first trying to attach them to my pants. The back must attach in the middle and my dress pants had a little more fabric at the middle seam on the back. This proved too daunting of a task and the 'L' shape of the top metal part, the part you see from outside, turned into more of a 'V', thus making it impossible to clamp as the little leg of the 'L' needs to push against the back piece of the clamp to well clamp. Same thing happened on one of the front ones. I took needle nose pliers with me to the weeding in case I needed them but they held up after 2 repairs.

I bought these suspenders to wear to my Sons wedding on August 23rd in Las Vegas. The first time I put them on I tried to adjust the tension clips one of them fell apart and was not able to be put back together. I tried putting the bar that fell off back on the little pins but it would not hold. Needles to say I would not buy these again. It was lucky I brought a belt along as a back up or I would have to worry about my pants falling down. Very disappointed. Jim Noe

Ordered for a friends 50s 60s retirement on Saturday. Opened to use directly from package. When my husband put it on, the left clip would not clasp. So he couldn't use it. Company emailed us for a review; told them what happened. They replaced suspenders (maybe we'll have another party or event my husband can use them), and they refunded money. Other than the clip being defective, the suspenders itself were very well made, and we received great customer service from company purchased from.

While these were the perfect color & price for my groomsmen, some of them had issues with the clips staying in place and we had to use a couple safety pins day-of. I don't know much about suspenders, but they don't seem as strong as they should be. However it might be easier to use if the guy is a smaller size, not sure if that had anything to do with it.

Very disappointed... purchased these for my son to wear to his PROM and they arrived broken. One of the clasps was already defective when it arrived. The teeth on each of the clasps isn't even strong enough to hold tight enough to the pants. These are going back from where they came from!

My husband can’t hold his pants up. He has no butt . With the suspenders he looked great in his suit at his granddaughters wedding.
