Does not Install on Sierra or Silverado
It not compatible for Silverado or Sierra , i got it & now have to return it .

Perfect fit
Antenna was a straight fit for the the stock antenna. Improves the look of the truck and still picks up the FM channels pretty well.

Poor reception
This antenna is rubbish.Lost radio reception 40kms out from city.The original antenna lasted at lease 80kms out from city.

Meh...
Looked great when it arrived. Easy to install. I did not notice a huge difference in reception going to this from the stock long antenna. Buuuuuuuut... the antenna is coated in classic cheap rubber that discolors in the sun. After rain it becomes white as the rubber breaks down. The cover also split at the base and became loose. It can be glued back but that is not really ideal. I have never gone through the car wash with it or had anything hit it so I’m not sure why it split. Maybe it got to hot in the sun? I’ll be removing it and switching to an anodized aluminum antenna of a similar size and shape that won’t deform. I’d probably skip buying this and go with one that is a painted metal.

False advertising- don't waste your money
Slick advertisment but don't be fooled by that. One trip through the carwash and this thing went to the ground. Look closely and you can see there is nothing inside it. Just another Chinese piece of garbage and Amazon should pull this thing off there site.
