Not as good as the original, but fits the rake fine
This was not as good as the original pieces of the roofrake. It is a little heavier and more flexible. Also it is plain rather than painted as described. It works, though, and it was cheaper than buying a new rake to make the rake longer. It did add to the distance I can get to from the ground, but now the rake is so long, when I rake the distant parts, the end hits the ground or snow pile and I take it off and put it on during the raking process. A longer rake does not solve all problems. After the 100+ inches of Boston snow without melting, it was a good buy as I never climbed on the roof to shovel the snow.

Works as expected
Fits the Ames True Temper 1634500 Roof Snow Rake which I also bought. The True Temper Rake is actually made by Garant in Canada. Extension snaps in easily and doesn't come apart during use as do the 3 handles included with the rake. Note that the extension has a smooth silver finish and the handles included with the True Temper Rake are a crinkle brown (I assume for better grip), simply insert the extension closest to the rake. My only complaint is there is significantly more flex in the handle assembly when the extension handle is used. I guess the handles would need to me made from titanium to keep them light weight and more rigid, but that would be way too expensive.

Maybe good for a strong man but not for me
The Garant Aluminum Roof Rake set was enough I was only able to lift 2 poles with the rake. Keep in mind I'm 46 yrs. old 130 lbs. 5.5 height. I thought I could do it b/c the poles are light but I couldn't.

Works exactly as I wanted, but way overpriced! Almost makes sense to buy entire new rake and get three extensions.

Snow Roof rake and Extensions
The snow rake and the extensions that I bought work great. I only wish I had purchased them earlier in the season. The assembly instructions were very clear. I would higly recommend this product to anyone that lives in an area that receives any measurable snow amounts. GREAT PRODUCT!!!!

I had a high roof.
The roof was high, I needed more extension, so I bought this and now the rake is longer and I reach roof.
