Terms and Conditions: the fake-dating TikTok sensation! Meet the Dreamland Billionaires... : Asher, Lauren: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: Dreamland Series has me in a chokehold - After completing 'The Fine Print' a few days ago, I was eager to delve into the next instalment of the Dreamland Billionaires series. I eagerly immersed myself in its pages. In 'Terms and Conditions,' the narrative unfolds the tale of Declan and Iris. Collaborating for three years, Declan, aspiring to be the next CEO of his family's empire, relies on Iris, his steadfast assistant. Iris stands out as the only one capable of holding her ground against Declan, determined to assist him in achieving his ambitions. When Declan requires a spouse to secure his inheritance, Iris steps forward, presenting what seems to be the perfect solution. However, Iris soon discovers that being married to Declan is more challenging than anticipated. Having thoroughly enjoyed 'The Fine Print,' my curiosity about the angry and cold older brother, Declan, intensified. Fortunately, this story exceeded my expectations. The narrative kicks off promptly, immediately captivating me. While the concept of requiring marriage for inheritance struck me as unsettling, it seamlessly fit into the narrative and the characters' dynamics. The stark differences between the two main characters, Declan and Iris, added a delightful dynamic to the story. The interactions between them, particularly in work mode, were enjoyable. Iris, seemingly the sole individual capable of eliciting a smile from Declan, remains oblivious to this fact. The most captivating moments for me were those instances when Declan attempted to conceal his true feelings about Iris. It mean't the world to me when he decided to throw caution to the wind and actual pursue her. I was delighted at the hidden romantic Declan always was under is facade. The romance was delightful, brimming with fantastic chemistry. Exploring the story through both of their perspectives added depth, with the chapters focusing on Declan offering a revealing glimpse into his perception of Iris. Despite his harsh and cold exterior, the narrative raises the question—does that truly define him? Iris emerged as a resilient and determined character, showcasing her unwavering spirit. 'Terms and Conditions' proved to be an immensely enjoyable and romantic read that I wholeheartedly recommend. Anticipation for the final brother's story, Cal's tale, is high, and I'm confident it will be equally compelling. Review: 4 stars - 4 stars 3.5 spice Just as a little side note before I start I have read the fine print but I literally can't remember anything from it except like it was grumpy sunshine and it was a workplace romance but it her than that I literally couldn't tell you anything else to this is fully just based on this book not the series. So i kinda loved this book it was such an easy read and flowed so nicely as well. Like if I was in a binge reading mood I could of binge read this. For tropes this is a grumpy sunshine, arranged marriage, workplace, slow burn romance. So this book follows I believe the oldest brothers story Declan- and eh he was ok. He was very much a sort of 2D grumpy character so nothing new nothing special. Which is fine. Then the sunshine part was Iris and this girl is a queen just such a positive charismatic multi dimensional character. Now I'm not going to go over the plot because there isn't really much to talk about there because its revolved around their marriage not like a story plot if you what I mean. Speaking of that the whole arranged marriage with my boss I am 100% on board with it was so fun to read about and the banter was also amazing. This is also I slow burn not just with the spice bit also with the character development Declan doesn't really like not become extremely grumpy for quite a while but is worth it in the end. Overall this book was such a nice book to just sit down and read with minimal thinking into what you are reading.

Amazing read !
I really enjoyed reading this book. If you enjoyed The Fine Print you will love the sequel. This is one of the best marriage of convenience/ fake dating books I’ve read, it it so well written. Also for fans of grumpy x sunshine or friends to lovers. The characters are lovable and relatable and the book has an excellent storyline. The conversations between the characters is unmatched and the book is full of super sweet moments. I would definitely recommend to any romance lover.

Book Review
So I thought Zahra was badass but then in comes IRIS!!! I’m loving these strong female characters that Lauren writes about in her stories. I love how Iris (and Zarha) are not afraid to push back against the Kane brothers and will demand what they deserve. I love love love the marriage of convenience trope and Iris and Declan have become one of my favourite couples. While Declan is meant to be a grumpy workaholic, deep down he is actually really sweet. The way he accommodated Iris’s dyslexia made me teary and I also like that when he knew he was developing feeling for Iris, he took the opposite approach to Rowan even though there were a few bumps in the road. The secret love language between Iris and Declan was by far my favourite part of the whole book!!❤️

Fake marriage turns to real love
Declan & Iris. The oldest brother and his precious assistant. Even more slow-burn than the first one with an even grumpier MMC. I liked this book too but their behaviour confused me. None of them had expressed, while we get to know them, that they felt anything towards each other. After the contract, she began mentioning she enjoyed some nice gestures and the thought that he could be jealous out of the blue. If she worked for him 3 years, shouldn’t she be aware if she felt even the tiniest attraction? It didn’t make much sense. Declan also just thought to himself that she was supposed to be his without any other clue. And his confession seemed to come out of nowhere. I was curious about some things that were not mentioned, like for example how she became bff with Cal since they have a 10y age gap. I liked the tension and the groveling, which should have been even more given his attitude- he was inexcusable. I will definitely read Cal’s story, he was the coolest character in this book. -Dual 1st person POV -Spice: 🌶️🌶️.5 Overall: 3.5/5 ⭐️ for me.

Iris is Declan's assistant. Declan a billionaire wants to be CEO of his organisation and oust his over bearing father. Only there is a stipulation made in his grandfather's will. He has to marry He has to have a child Nobody wants to be with Declan, he is grumpy, scary and puts women off. When his latest fiancee does a runner he is left at the engagement announcement party standing on his own. Jump in Iris his ever faithful, unfaltering assistant of three years. Only does she know what she is signing up for by suggesting to marry Declan for him to achieve his CEO dream and to have a child with him. There will be rules, terms and conditions attached to the arrangement. Can Iris live in a loveless relationship or do their feelings come to the fore? This book swept me away literally. I couldn't put it down. Asher writes beautifully, with humour and her characters are undeniably perfect. What I loved about this book: 1. Strong, fund, loyal MC Iris 2. Sexy, hot billionare Declan a mr Grumpy through and through 3. The writing style 4. The pace slow burn 5. An epilogue + an extended epilogue. I love epis at the end of a book it adds to the story. 6. A truly romantic yet humour filled romance that you simply fall in love with What I didn't like about this book: Nothing. I will be going out to buy the whole series. I absolutely fell in love with this one and Asher's style of writing. Highly recommend this book if you're looking for slow-burn romance, laughs, steamy scenes and a billionaire who is nothing but Grumpy. Kerry Kennedy Author

“There is nothing I want more than to turn a house into a home with you.” I knew after reading the very first chapter that this was going to be a five-star read for me and it DEFINITELY was. Don't get me wrong, I loved The Fine Print but the writing, the storytelling AND the character development in Terms and Conditions was on another level. In fact, some of the best I have ever read. Lauren Asher should give herself a solid pat on the back because she rocked this book. Read time - 9h 13mins Reading sessions - 7

I really enjoyed this book and especially the "Boy falls first, and harder" trope! Both Iris and Declan are closed off characters in the beginning and its a great to see how they develop as the book goes!
