One of the best premade SBD models
Excellent model of an incredibly historic airplane. Victory at Midway might have turned out differently if not for the SBD and the brave pilots who flew her. Glad to have it in my collection.

THERE'S A DESIGN PROBLEM
This is a very nice model, with good scale and attention to detail, with ONE exception. If you want to display it with Landing Gear Down, it allows you to attach a bomb to the underside (it's a Dive Bomber). HOWEVER, it you want to mount it as if flying, YOU CANNOT ATTACH THE BOMB because the bomb covers the hole that's necessary to insert the post from the display stand! I didn't[ like this issue because I had wanted to display it as flying with the bomb attached, (seems to have made sense to me), but YOU CAN'T!

Its a good model but the elevators broke off easily
a few minutes the two elevators started to get loose and fell off

Parts of it are plastic
It’s a nice looking plane but the elevators are plastic and one broke off shortly after it was unboxed. The propeller is also plastic and slips off easily. Disappointing.

Brittle model
Got this model and it was broken from the package it is very brittle and easily damaged. The seller was great to work with sbout returns however
