Swhmc Set of Gold Electric Guitar Tremolo Bridge with Bar Double Strat Locking Floyd Rose Type

I got one of these in the past, I had a Floyd Rose special & something got messed up with the bar,so I saw this great deal for a " Floyd Rose" style tremelo kit. When I received it,I could tell it wasn't a true Floyd Rose ,but whoever manufactures this doppelganger actually stamps on it " "Licensed under Floyd Rose trademark". If this was true, I should of had no problems with how it fit the cavity ,since it was an original Floyd on it to begin with. The damn thing doesn't even fit in the body cavity evenly . When I saw all I did was ordered the exact same kit again I was pretty upset. If id known it was the same I wouldn't of ordered it, but since the last one doesn't fit right I figure I'll try this one. A real Floyd runs approx. $250-350. This is selling for $22 depending on color. My big issue is IS FLOYD ROSE AWARE THAT SOMEONE IS STAMPING THEIR NAME ON A PRODUCT THEY OBVIOUSLY DIDNT MANUFACTURE ,IF THEY HAD YOUD NEVER PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT AT A 2 DIGIT PRICE. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THESE TREMELO KITS COME FROM? IM GONNA TAKE A CRAZY GUESS? CHINA!!!

Locks the strings in tune although I use the whammy bar. It also changes the string angle to the fretboard. I always keep it parallel so that playing pressure is even but it makes high end tapping sound muffled. So yeah I love it and it's improving things a bit for me.

Took the risk at only 22 bucks. Cheap finish. Some red discoloration on the locking nut assembly.

Seems like a good product at a great price. 🙂

The nut has paint flake on the black bolts and the gold is flaked in some places and is rusted and discolored. Other than that it fit well. Haven’t put strings on yet but we’ll see how it feels and looks at the end.
