I usually love Haiku bags. I have a few and have never been disappointed except for this one. Although the bag is pretty, made well and has great style, the placement of the zipper to get in and out of it is weird. It's not on top, it's in the front and when you open it and reach in, the items shift and/or fall out. Unless you don't mind that happening I don't recommend this bag. I am also unhappy with the Seller that sent it to me. I was supposed to be charged $3.33 for returning it and instead was charged more than triple that amount. And although I complained they never did anything to rectify the issue. I would never order from them again.

I liked the color and the size of the bag. There were just a few design choices I didn't like. It's a personal preference, but It feels weird to only have one handle. I kept subconsciously searching for the second handle that didn't exist when picking it up. The pocket in the side I felt was pretty useless. I didn't find it to be any "easier" access than the main compartment. inside the zippered pocket was against the front. Every handbag I have ever owned with an internal zip pocket, it has been against the back of the bag. I figured I could get past this, but I realized that's where I usually put my phone and I can't feel it vibrating when it's against the front of the bag.I ended up returning it, but I'm happy with my other Haiku bag - the Journey tote.

First, this purse is light all by itself. The purse I was using before this one was heavy even empty, and that weight difference really mattered when I hurt my shoulder.Second, I just like how it looks. It’s simple and it isn’t fussy with a bunch of extra detailing or anything.Third, it holds much more than you would expect. There are three main pockets — two placed not quite on the top and one on the side. The one on the side is surprising spacious and I use it to hold a quantity of writing utensils and small office supplies. And there’s room for more!The pockets close to the top have openings smaller than the space within. That can make placing items inside a bit of a challenge, but it’s easy to work with. One pocket has a zippered pocket inside, and the other has a velcroed pocket and a zippered pocket.Final note: I really like this bag. So much so that I bought a second one in a different color

Love the shape of this bag, but the interior compartments are weird - it's divided into two large compartments, one accessed via the front zipper shown in the photos, and the other via an undersized zipper on the back that looks like it belongs to a small slip pocket. Neither of the zippers really allows the bag to open up enough to be quite as useful as I'd like, plus dividing the body into two equally sized compartments means you can't put in anything nearly as large as the outside size would imply. I wanted to like it, but it just doesn't seem very user friendly in design.

Great small/mid-sized bag. The combo of a single top/over shoulder handle + crossbody strap is perfect for me. I love the hidden side pockets and colorful lining of the Haiku bags. This is my 3rd Haiku product.

Haiku Fan! Reviews were just okay, but I really love this one. Have it in the pink, and plan to get the black. Perfect for traveling, I switch to this one each time I’m on the go. BEST feature is the ample-zized zipper pocket where I can stash a knitting project. My yarnand notions don’t get tangled or require extra knitting bag. Awesome!

I love Haiku products. This is my second bag. I wanted a smaller, purse-like, daily use bag. I love the organization and spaciousness despite the compact size. You can use the one handle to hold or attach the strap to crossbody or shoulder carry.

Great quality. Bigger than I need/expected, but that way I can throw a water bottle in or whatever. Love that it's made from recycled plastic bottles. Love all the various pockets and that the small strap is big enough that it can be used w/ my down coat and it fits on my shoulder. So far, so good
