Brilliant Specialty Adult Round Toothbrush for Sensitive Mouths to Support Chemo and Other Sensory Oral Care Needs with Ultra Soft Bristles, Raspberry, 1 Pack

I am going through radiation therapy of neck and couldn’t use a regular soft toothbrush. This toothbrush is perfect. Very soft to the gums and teeth. Don’t mind the shape. It really does clean your teeth. My dentist also recommended using the new sensodyn nourish toothpaste with aloe due to the burning factor of regular toothpaste. Nourish doesn’t burn.

I purchased this for my mother who has fought several cancers and had loads of chemo; she is now in hospice and not receiving treatment but continues to get mouth sores and have very sensitive gums. This has been by far the best brush we’ve found! Prior to finding this she needed to use just sponge mouth swabs for her oral hygiene- this is soft enough for her to tolerate well, but still leaves her mouth clean. It’s also a great tool for caregivers who are providing oral care. I wish we would have discovered this years ago!

I'm giving this 4 stars because it is super gentle and will probably work great for most people who need something like this. Unfortunately, it did not get my kid with ASD/hypersensitivity to tolerate brushing his teeth. He has a beautiful smile. It is going to rot right out of his head. For those who are, like me, still looking, the one thing he will under (under duress) is those sponge cleaners for - like - hospital patients.

What a lifesaver! My mom is a cancer patient and I think I bought every "super soft" and even baby toothbrushes offered at my local drugstore because her mouth was causing her so much pain. We already had the Miracle Mouthwash from the doctor a(sk for it - it's a prescription) but simply the act of brushing her teeth was sheer Agony for her due to the mouth sores and gum tenderness. I bought this toothbrush more as a last-ditch effort, not expecting it to be any different than what about the drugstores offer but my fingers were crossed. It looks a little strange being round but my mom immediately commented on how it was a completely different experience for her and she did not have near the pain. Another tip, although she was using sensitive tooth toothpaste, she said it was still irritating to her gums so I purchased her some children's toothpaste which is getting her through this toughest time. Her hope is to be able to go back to regular toothpaste in the future but at least this way she feels like her mouth is getting clean. Definitely do not hesitate to purchase does toothbrush if you have a loved one going through chemo!!!

Unless you’re having major issues with mouth sores, I’d recommend just getting an “extra soft”toothbrush. It’s very gentle and soft but wore out very quickly.

Bought for my friend that is getting chemo treatments. She like it. Said it was soft and good quality. Just wish price wasn't do high. Should cost half that price.
