The 2 belts are just what I needed for when I fall. they give my wife a chance to pick me up.

took me awhile to figure how to use the metal buckle, took a while to take it apart when the als elderly wants it released asap. I used it without the buckle and held both sides, that worked too. thinking I need a fast release.sometimes I use it under both armpits (shorter) or the waist (longer: pop belly but he complains that it adds toomuch pressure and he needs to rush to the commode....for someone who is paralyzed on one side, that is not an option.,

I bought a "2-pack", one white and one black belt. The black belt is a bit longer and used in our vehicle while the shorter white belt is used within our home. Both are extremely sturdy and very helpful with their intended purpose, which is to help getting a person to stand without pulling on their arms or grabbing by their hands.

It would be even more helpful if the belt was a little wider.

Pretty decent Gait belt. No handles to grab (that's the style, though), but seems to cinch up pretty well. As with any of these style of lift or transfer belts, you'd better have two people to help, because one person will always be off-center.

Very helpful in getting my 93 year old mother up out of her chair, off the toilet and making sure as she walks that shehas support to prevent falls. Less painful than using hands to pick her up.

Seem to be solid gait belts for a good price. Didn’t give them a 5 just bc I haven’t found anything extra special about them.
