Amazingly durable!
I got this to transport our cat on a 5h trip to see a specialist in the city. He gets hysterical in the carrier so we have developed the admittedly risky habit of transporting him loose. With his health issue I didn't want him clambering up and down into the foot wells possibly straining himself so found this! I was scared it could leak, almost chose the more costly plywood type but hated the reports of them shifting around, and my husband hated the idea of storing something that large. I like this because it stays put, is cheap, and folds down small for storage. It did come with a couple patches in case of leaks so I stuck those in the car and hoped for the best.Day of the trip my (passenger) seat developed a problem. When I slid it forward to stick this in, it didn't re-engage, it just slides forward and backward on the rails without ever clicking into place. I know I know, presumably a safety problem if we crashed but since we had this important medical appointment we just headed off like that, no time to get it repaired. So for 5h each way plus another couple hours of driving around in the city, my seat was sliding around freely, and it would ram back against this thing every time we accelerated or turned, and it took it! I'm just amazed it never popped! A couple times we were going up hills and this thing was holding the weight of me and my seat for considerable time and it just didn't mind at all! Amazing that something so cheap could be so sturdy!! I wish I could give it ten stars lol!As for other details... there was a nasty plastic stink but it aired out fine after 2d on the porch. I used an air mattress pump we had- blowing it up with your mouth would be an ordeal as it's pretty big. The size and shape are flexible. It was a bit long for our car when fully inflated so I just let out some air and squashed it around, let out a bit more, wiggled a bit more, until it filled in the space perfectly. It didn't make any squeaky noises or anything annoying like that. I don't know if a pet would be nervous to step directly on it- we laid an area rug over everything to give the cat something he could grip with his claws for better balance when walking around.Very happy with the purchase!Edit to add: Well turns out the seat malfunction was not just a coincidence. As soon as we yanked this thing out after the trip, to try to diagnose the seat trouble, the seat started to act normal again! So it was being obstructed by this somehow. I couldn't believe it, I left this fairly soft in fear of it popping, so it was easily squished around, and the seat was able to go all the way to the back of its tracks, so it sure didn't SEEM like there was anything jamming. I guess the lesson to learn is that if there's an issue, maybe try pulling the thing out and investigating. Maybe if I'd just let a tiny bit more air out it would have all been great.

worked well
had this thing about a year and a half - i use it so my dog can ride comfortably in the car. it worked really well up until last wednesday, we got into a minor car accident and my dog fell onto the mattress, popping it. it would sometimes deflate a bit in the cold weather but other than that it worked really well. super easy to inflate but i definitely recommend a pump. it doesn’t line up entirely with the back seat of my rav 4 so i wouldn’t use this for sleeping but it works for what i need it for. overall i definitely think it was worth the money. i will be buying another one

Good ideas, but poor workmanship.
Good ideas, but poor workmanship. Used only 5 times in the fall under a thick dog car hammock and multiple blankets and pillows... and yet it developed or had and we did not notice in time multiple holes, some of them hard to find in the seams. Do not throw your money away, as it would let you down in most needed time. Find better company than this one.

Great solution to a common problem
Had no idea these products existed, but man am I happy I found this. Easy to inflate, no leaks (yet), firm when fully inflated, easy to deflate and pack away, storage bag is big enough to fit the product back in without struggling. I highly recommend if you have a large dog who likes to ride in the back seat and moves around a lot!

It works
This was perfect for us. My dog is big and likes lay on the back seat but still be close to us on long trips. This allowed for her to lay comfortably.

Works well in a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe but make sure to cover it to reduce holes
We use this for our 90lb dog. The material is thinner than our previous air bag but it has held up for about 1 month now. It is a little taller than our back seat but that works for how we set up the back seat. We learned from the last bag to make sure that there is a thick covering over the bag to prevent holes. We cover ours with a couple of moving pads and then place the dog bed over it. She can stand on the bag with two of her legs without issues. Overall we are happy with the function of this air bag and hope it makes it past the year record of our other bag. Either way we have stocked up on patch kits and glue. Eventually the temperature changes will cause the vinyl to become brittle especially since the bag stays in our 2007 Hyndai Santa Fe 24/7.

Does it's purpose but loses air very quickly
If it kept it's air, this would be a 5 star product. It gets pretty tight when it's fully inflated between the seats so I understand why it loses its air so quickly but then again....given the purpose of the product, you would think this wouldn't have this issue. I have to inflate it almost every hour....

fit great
Bought this item to sleep in the back seat of our truck. For reference we have a 2019 Sierra, it was a bit short on the ends but after putting in our blankets/pillows it ended up working perfectly. It did not deflate over night which I was worried about and take down was fast and easy. Overall pretty happy with the purchase and would recommend if your camping for a night or two out of your vehicle
