So far I love it and it looks great on my screen porch! I haven't fired it up yet as I need to purchase a new propane tank. Assembly would have been easier outside but thanks to my UPS driver who decided to leave it at the front door (while calling for rain all day) instead of the perfectly covered carport, the box was too wet to move to the screen porch for assembly. There was no damage to the fire pit although the box was kind of beat up and the styrofoam was broken up. I'll be sweeping up tiny styrofoam balls in my house for a month!With that aside, it took me about an hour to assemble. Would have been quicker with two people but assembly was pretty easy and instructions were straightforward. I will be sure to update this review if I have any unforeseen problems or if anything happens that other purchasers have experienced. However, at the time of this review, I am very happy with my purchase!

The item is nice, but the power switches are held to the body by thinly soldered layer. Mine broke during shipping. I was able to repair, but if you're not a solderer, beware.Review number 2: after using, I realized the the tank is directly under the heated plate. Burned my hand trying to turn off the tank. Less than a 3" gap between tank nozzle and burner plateAfter one year, will no longer lite. Wiring underneath broke when I switched out tank. The overall product has been very disappointing

This is a great firepit!! Has worked great!! We have it on an open screened in porch and can warm up the whole porch!! Have gotten lots of compliments on it!!Would buy again!!

The good: Beautiful design and the extruded aluminum exterior seems sturdy.The bad: the ignition/gas line mechanism of the unit is welded to the underside of the top. When unpacking the first one we ordered, we discovered that the welds were partially fractured and that the mechanism was at a 45 degree angle instead of straight. Could it have been repaired? Probably, but I am not a welder:) and the repair would have been paid out of (our) pocket. We really liked how the unit looked and what appeared to be the overall quality of the extruded aluminum, and convinced ourselves that this was a 'one off' problem. So, we took another plunge -- returned the first one and ordered another.Opened it this morning and...NOT!!! The welds were completely fractured and the ignition/gas line mechanism was lying loosely in the box.No third chances! Sending it back, getting a refund, and starting the shopping experience all over again.

JUST RECEIVED IT THE OTHER DAY. HAVE NOT PUT ITTOGETHER YET.CAN'T WAIT TILL WEATHER BREAKS. I KNOW I'M GOINGTO LOVE IT. WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF A GLASS WIND FENCE IS AVAILABLE FOR THIS MODEL?

We purchased, assembled product and it does not work. We tested propane tank on other items and works fine. Overall not pleased with the product. If it worked, then would be 5 stars because we like the appearance it just does not function. Even tried to light with a lighter and the propane is not being released.

Product is great! Had a minor issue (coating coming off the top) and customer service handled it in an awesome fashion!! Great company!!

Horrible product. This doesn't work and wouldn't light.
