You are gonna want to read this!!
Love the well made cover for a soft cover book. Absolutely one of my favorite series and I can't put it down until it is done. Well worth every minute.

Bayou Did It For Me
I was worried by the other reviews that was not a good pick after reading the former collections by Garth Ennis. This was really good too, and I loved the bayou story.

Scratches the itch
There's a clear drop in quality from Ennis' time as the Punisher, but this will fill the Punisher sized void. While Ennis often found new and interesting ways to explore Frank's philosophy and the extremes of his actions, this run mostly presents the most disgusting villains and contrives situations that will deliver the most violent conclusions. That by itself can sometimes be cathartic, especially if you are inundated with stories of noble heroes who battle with cartoonish villains, whose plans are often too bizarre to actually relate to real-life evil.

Solid Volume
Ignore the negative review. If you're a Punisher fan, get this volume. Sure, it doesn't compare to the previous 4 volumes, but there is good work in here.Six Hours To Kill is worth the price of admission alone.

The series ceases to amaze me. The collaboration of artists and writers have made Punisher Max a collector's dream. Keep up the good work. I look forward to the Complete Collection.

Not Crazy About This One
These max Punisher comics are super brutal and extreme. That doesn't necessarily mean they are good. The stories were okay. One was a lot like the movie "Crank". The Louisiana backwoods bayou story was pretty entertaining, even though that seemed like a very bizarre setting for Frank Castle. Reading these, with all the extreme violence and pointless nudity, it really just makes me miss the old Punisher comics more. Give me the white boots and battle van! Yeah, I know it is silly but I felt like those stories had heart and these new ones often seem cruel and heartless. As far as art goes, this volume is inconsistent. Some are good, some are bad. Some of it detracts from the story. As a whole, it's okay but not great and I'm not sure if I want to read any more of these.

Entertains enough
Like other reviews stated the bayou story was offensive with its stereotypical " Deliverance" portrayal of swamp folk although I certainly would not choose such a location ...ever.Like I said, entertaining enough universally three and a half stars.

Punisher Max mach hier alles richtig.
