This is a good-looking item at an economy price. Being non-technical, I had a little difficulty working out where to plug it into the television and then a little more difficulty realising that pressure was required in order to push the connection in far enough. However, actually it was very simple to install. The sound on my otherwise good value Hitachi television was tinnily awful and is now vastly improved, with good sound in both bass and treble. The only problem is that I have had to position it behind the television, whereas it is intended to be in front, so that it can respond to the remote control. In time, I will correct this by using a larger table for the TV. I now have one remote for the TV, one for the Roku stick (easily as good as a Prime stick, can be used with Prime and is cheaper) and one for the sound bar, which does complicate turning on a programme! (Why don't television manufacturers use good built-in speakers any more? Or perhaps they do if you pay enough - maybe I'm just a cheapskate!) The soundbar volume, treble and bass can all be adjusted via the remote. I am deaf and often find picking out speech from background music very difficult, so I'm hoping that adjusting the balance of bass and treble when listening to drama will help this. Certainly, it is going to be louder! It can be made extremely loud - much too loud for me, deaf or not! Time will test its durability. At present, I am very pleased indeed. I plan to buy another for my son's equally tinny TV.

very good one and fit for the purpose. The only draw back is the cable is far tooooooo short! I would give full star if it is slightly longer.

My only issue is that it's very heavy on the bass. I've got mine set at 0 (it can go into minus) with the treble up a bit in order to have a more natural sound whilst still holding a good punch on deeper sounds. It's very simple. Volume, bass, treble. It'll turn off if it's not doing anything. The remote does the trick. Bluetooth works, audio cable works and the optic cable works (just remember to take the plastic bulbs off the ends). It's very basic looking, but not cheap or tacky. It has BIG volume if you need it. I am genuinely struggling to find any issue with it and compared to the big names that'd charge you over 100 for something less, this is great value for money.

I have lost part of my hearing in my right ear, which means I struggle with the stupid sound mixing that seems to be the norm on films and television today. This is a great sound bar that gives a good strong clear sound, that can add or reduce bass etc if you want to. The remote takes AAA batteries and works fine from the back of my long room. (You will need 2 x AAA Batteries as they are not supplied) Watching TV is no longer the pain that it was, as I was constantly trying to turn the sound up and down on my old sound bar, and that was after the stupid thing remote did anything but what I wanted. Good price, good product and good sound. What more could you want ? Yes me too, well that boat sailed, a long time ago :-) Take care, Regards to you all Anthony. BTW No one gave me any free stuff or anything for this review, like always this is just my honest point of view regarding this sound bar.

Nice style of sound bar. It is very sleek and modern with a small LED display behind the front grill. Will definitely blend in with any recent TV and won’t stand out sat on your tech cabinet. All the input ports on the back are in the right place and have been carefully thought out for cable management. Once I had plugged it in to my TV via the optical cable (which is supplied) and tested the sound quality, I was initially impressed. As compared to almost every TV’s own speakers, this sound bar is a big improvement. It has 5 pre-set equaliser settings which all add a different sound and can be tweaked using the “bass” and “treble” buttons on the remote. Overall the sound quality is good. When listening to music, is great. On movies or normal tv you can begin to notice the low end frequencies over power the highs and is difficult to adjust to get right. Then I found myself having to keep adjusting the equaliser to suit each type of media. Things then quickly went downhill when trying to connect a separate remote to this soundbar. Simply, you can’t! I tried numerous times to connect my Amazon Fire TV Stick remote with no luck. The same said for my LG Magic remote. Meaning to adjust the volume or make any changes you have to use it’s own supplied remote. I contacted the seller and received an apology telling me I couldn’t connect a separate remote. This soundbar very quickly went from a smart, modern bit of kit back to ancient tech, where you would have 5 remotes hidden around your front room needed to control each product! Although this is on the cheaper side of sound bars, you can spend a little more and have the ease of just one remote for all. To the sellers credit they where quick to respond and refunded me with no hassle. Please just be aware of this huge let down before buying this product.
