So much fun to make and SOOO affordable. If you gift these to someone make sure to get them a pair of cheap tweezers too. It also took me awhile to realize the different between twisting the tabs and folding them down. The directions call out which to do but I wasn’t paying much attention. It’s definitely easier to make these when you follow the directions. :)

Super novice model builder here, but I did end up completing all 5, including The Burrow which isn't in this pack. It took me a solid three months with chubby little fingers. There were pieces a quarter of the size of the tip of my index finger that I had to bend and make round then stick the tab, like 3mm wide, into a tiny little slit and then bend the tab. It was a nightmare, and I suffer partial blindness from looking at how small these pieces were. Nonetheless, it was cool and fun putting these together, my wife thought I was crazy for doing it and my kids will love them. I hid $100 in the belly of the dragon and $5 in the train. Hopefully they last 100 years for my grandchildren to have to look at. I don't think I would do anymore Metal Earth's, but it makes me believe I can take on other modeling challenges. If you get it, be extremely patient and what ever you do don't drop a piece on the ground!

Challenging to assemble but worth it. You'll want a couple additional tools like tweezers but this set is gorgeous once assembled.

These are quite intricate so I wouldn't get them for a younger child. My 14 year old daughter who wants to be an engineer is in love with all things metal earth. It's challenging enough to keep her busy but not too difficult that it frustrates her. I can't wait to give her this Harry Potter series for Christmas!!!

This is an amazing product. So far I’ve done the Snitch and Hogwarts cottage and they were both so much fun. You really need to buy the tool pack because it’s the difference between quitting halfway and finishing. They’re are well worth it. I will definitely be buying more once they’re all done!

Design and packaging look appealing, and they do include detailed instructions with helpful online links. However, pulling the pieces from the pop-out sheets is surprisingly hard, and I ended up significantly bending most of the pieces due to their flimsiness, breaking one of them, which made the final product look less polished.Also, the connector tabs should be at least twice the size they are - you can't get any leverage w/your tweezers on many of the tabs without breaking the rest of the structure. And each model is smaller than you'd expect from the package.My dad is a handiwork expert, and I have no doubt he'd enjoy these models and make them come out looking great. Unfortunately, for less crafty hands like mine, this product fails to be accessible.

You will need needle nose pliers to construct these. The snitch is really easy to put together and hagrids hut is really detailed. Really fun time
