Works extremely well, healing from brain injury and as part of a regimen for stabilizing partial seizure disorder.
I take this supplement along with the R-ALA gel capsules (R-Plus), also by Geronova, and Life Extension's Grapeseed Extract Plus Resveratrol to protect my brain and stabilize the blood brain barrier for a partial seizure disorder and significant brain injury.This works together synergistically with the R-Plus (R ALA). I take both thrice a day for consistent levels of it and R-ALA in my body, and it works wonders together for my mental function and stabilizing/preventing further complications post-seizure.It was recommended to me by a friend who had done extensive testing with partial seizure patients and works very well compared to the other brands I've tried (Now, Pure Encapsulations), which cause some nausea and strange spaciness.It is a critical part of my protocol, and I can feel it preventing what would otherwise be typical damage post-seizures (I have inadequate treatment to prevent breakthroughs), potentiating the effects of the R-ALA gel capsules, and has contributed significantly to my recovery process.
