This little kit is very cute. The instructions were good. Each animal project came in an individual package with everything needed to make the animal. There are plastic needles in each package so if you are working with more than one child, each will have its own needle. My 6 and 10 yr old granddaughters can easily do the projects. Both girls really enjoyed sewing the little animals. I am an experienced sewer and wanted something to just give my girls a taste of sewing and that it did. It is basic but you do have to start at the beginning. It came with plastic needles, as I mentioned, but I gave the older girl a real needle and the younger girl the plastic one, both needles work well. Happy sewing!

This is a neat kit and easy for kids to do. Both my 5 and 8 year old had success with it. This was their first introduction to sewing and made teaching a basic stitch easier.Each animal comes in its own kit with cut out pieces and directions. Some of the features - eyes, noses, pink inner ears on kangaroo, etc... - are glued on using the enclosed glue.My only complaint is that about half of the glue leaked out and dried on the glue container. Everything else stayed fine so it may have happened before packing. I ended up sewing on the features, so it was a non-issue for me.

Great kit for kids with no sewing experience, cute animals, materials were quality. Unfortunately, our kit was missing pink thread and some of the kits were missing eyes/noses.

This is a really cute sewing kit for kids. We purchased this for my six year old daughter to help with her fine motor skills and she absolutely loved creating all of the animals. I did need to help attaching smaller items like the eyes and noses, but an older child can probably complete these parts with a little practice. A few smaller parts (felt fangs and eyes for the bat) were missing but we were easily able to problem solve using craft supplies we had around the house. I think this is a fun project that teaches a useful skill.

I bought this for my 6 year old daughter and she loves it! The pieces and directions for each animal comes in its own packet and all the packets plus the thread, a couple plastic needles and some glue are in a cute little satin case. The animals are easy to assemble and have perforations where you're supposed to sew. The directions are easy to follow. She did need some help, but she was able to do it mostly on her own. My only issue was some of the pieces to glue on were teeny and hard to manage. Other than that, she was so proud that she was able to make her own cute stuffed animals.

My daughter and I had fun learning how to sew these cute animals together. We got the Adventure Kit.Loved the pretty sewing case everything came in. It was well organized with each animal individually wrapped and all the tools necessary to sew them together. Easy to follow instructions and thepre-cut designs with the punched sewing guiders makes it good for beginners. The recommended age says 7+, I would say it is more for 10+. Does require some patience and love of crafts. 5 stars!

So easy to use and so much fun! I really had to restrain myself from making the stuffed animals, they are just the cutest things😍😍. The glue is quite frankly the strongest fabric adhesive I have ever used. My kids are peaceful and work so diligently to create their perfect animal, often with silly thread colors!

I decided to this item to teach my kids basic sewing by hand.Pros: 1. it included plastic needles as well as the real ones. It was great to start the kids off with safe needles that don’t prick your fingers.2. The bag that came with the set was sturdy.3. An easy to follow visual instruction on a sheet of paper for each project. It gives you choices in stitching methods.5. The projects are geared gender neutrally .6. The projects are easy - an 8 years old did the sewing without much help.Cons1. You need to sew in the eyes/facial features and they are tiny.2. I would say the stuffing that came with this is a health hazard!!!!The toy stuffing appears to be made of something artificial and not a real wool or cotton. At first I didn’t see this, but when I happened to have my tablet on my lap when I stuffed the animal, I noticed there were many fine particles and pieces broken off from the stuffing. And I only took small amount of stuffing material out. This concerns me.This reminded me of asbestos snow. Of course this stuffing is hopefully not asbestos, but I don’t think it’s safe at all. Kids and adults alike can easily inhale or swallow these particles from the stuffing either.Not only that, after handling the stuffing skin on my hand felt strangely dry and uncomfortable as if I had touched some harsh detergent. I ended up keeping the projects, that were half way done, away from kids.
