Brocraft Float Tube OR Pontoon Boat Rod Holder / Float Tube Fly Rod Holder

Needed an adjustable rod holder that can be strapped to my fishing raft. Very happy with this solution as the product works well as shown in my photo.

I love these holders. I have two of them. One on each side of my float tube so I can have two rods with me whenever I want . They are infinitely adjustable so the rod I’m not using is pointed to the rear, out and away so it doesn’t interfere with casting. If I choose not to take the extra rod, the holder portion is easily removed. Outstanding product.

This float tube rod holder is a decent concept.The good, the design of the release is good and functions well. The rod holder is secure and works well. With cigar style grip flyrods., the full wells grip has problems fitting in the holder..but can probably be modified to fit those as well.I found that the holder can be adjusted but..on the right side of my outcast pontoon boat..the rod is facing the wrong direction..the can be fixed if the rod is pointed across the rowing position. Or simply move the rod holder to the left pontoon.The not so good....the rod holder did not have the 2 straps to secure/mount the to the tube. I dud contact the seller and they did send a strap.. yes 1 strap..not a deal killer for me as I happen to have spare straps so I could use the rid holder.I gave it 3 stars but if it had both straps would given it 4 stars..the holder will be modified to accept other style grips. The concept is great..it just needs a few tweaks.

I would give this product a five-star rating if just one thing was different. The straps were too short for my tube so I had to purchase longer straps. They fit regular float tubes, however the larger models are too wide. Just 12 more inches in length would solve the problem. The hassle in and of itself of cutting and resowing the plastic hardware was enough to drop the rating lower than I did, but the rod holder itself works perfectly and I like the design. So, I did not want to discourage those with smaller tubes from purchasing the product.

Product works great! I use mine for a pontoon setup, the only issue for me is the strings were not quite long enough and the little strap secure clips are weak and break with little force. That was my only complaint, it is cheap, a great option for tubes, no install, and can hold about any type of rod. would buy again

dislike.... Very tight tolerances. This is a 8wt fly rod. Advertised as working for long but regular rods also. I was able to Fit my Sage 5wt fly rod, but it was so tight i could only imagine trying to get the rod out before the fish is gone. I brought it to my buddies house. He couldn't fit his fly rods in easily either. I am not sure why others review it so highly. It seems to be made well but the design is not for me. This was going to attach to my pontoon boat. I'll figure something else out that is better. Would have been nice as it is adjustable. This will be returned. Sorry disappointed.

It fit well and securely onto my float tube using the straps. It seems to be made of heavy duty materials and is very adjustable.

Works great and fit is perfect.
