First the pros:-Fast shipping, my other super was falling apart and I needed this in a hurry-Easy to assemble, I was able to wrap this up in about an hour - most of that time was to allow the glue to dry before flipping it.-Quality: everything appears sturdy, everything was coated in wax as described and the wood was in good shape, not a lot of knots or splinters.-Fit: I was worried that this would have lots of gaps for hive beetles to hide in. They did not, everything fit together nicely. With the wood glue applied it was even better.Cons:-On the box itself there are two sides that seemed to have less wax coating than the others - a little uneven but nothing that would cause me to be disappointed.Other:-I only had one frame split when applying the nails but it was a minor split and I added glue to give it some strength. The wood was generally good quality and gave me no issues.

They really make it easy to put together! Arrived well packaged and sorted. The box sides are pre-coated with bees wax and holes are pre-drilled. The kit includes screws for the box and nails for the frames. All pieces fit together perfectly. A drill, a rubber mallet and some glue was all the extras I needed to make quick work of the build. I took some pleasure in the sweet smell of wax and honey while assembling. One of my bees even landed on one of the frames as if it were doing an inspection. The assembly took about 30 minutes altogether. I’ll be installing it this evening!

The medium super with frames arrived neatly packed in the box. I was extremely impressed with the amount of wax that was on the plastic foundation. This is the first time I received plastic foundation that didn't need waxing. I put the box together with ease, the predrilled holes made this an easy task that anyone can accomplish. I also loved the joints on the box, they will holdup much better that regular box joints due to the angle design.Pros1) Foundation wax was triple of what I get from other manufactures2) Joints are super strong3) predrilled holesPossible cons1) the super is covered in wax, I couldn't finish it my typical weatherproofing technique. Time will tell if the wax will protect against the outside elements. Still deserves 5 stars even if I have to refinish it down the line

Update- as feared the bees did not like the foundation. They either would not build on it or burr comb was everywhere. I think it is still worh it but use your own foundation. Assembled 8 supers with zero issues. Rabbit joints were perfect and everything is pre-drilled. Frames assembled easy and straight. We will see if the bees like the wax coating on the foundation... sometimes they are picky. Top quality stuff here. I'm impressed!
