Great item for kitchen and crafting!!
Great buy. I bought this for my sons new place as they did not have a lot of storage in the kitchen. Easy to assemble and they did it after coming home from Christmas visits and was done by bedtime. I shared pics they sent me of what they put in it. They even added 2 bar stools and use it as their kitchen table. The extra fold up is great too for more room. They couldn't thank me enough as they really needed it and they can take it with them after they move. As a crafter I think this would be great for other uses such as a crafting area too if you have little space as you could fit all your supplies in it and have the top for workspace. the spice rack can also be used for all your tools and glues. Great space saver too since you can roll it out of the way.

Worth the buy
Very functional for the kitchen. We are pleased with the quality of this cart. It was quite difficult to put together but once assembled the doors and drawer are sturdy.

Really like it but has flaws
I’m happy to have this item after it’s all said and done. Building it was a pain and I had to make some modifications to the doors to make them not swing inside of the cabinet. You REALLY NEED an allen wrench drill attachment or some of these screw placements would have been impossible for me. I would say I’m intermediate at building furniture out of a box. That said, it took me 3 hours to build. I did need a second pair of hands for putting the doors on. So far I really like this. It looks great and the material is sturdy expect for the backing pieces. It is perfect for small spaces. Time will tell how the table top holds up to use. So far I’m thinking it might stain or scratch easy. But that’s ok, for the price I’m not expecting much more. Overall I want to give it a 4 star rating for the building aspect, such a pain. The drawer scrapes against the top when it slides in and out (tried hard to fix it but it seems that’s just the way it is). And the swinging doors want to go too far in so I had to add some stoppers at the top.

4.5 STARS!
I love this! I had been waiting for months knowing I needed something to help with my lack of storage and countertop space. But I held off because didn’t want to spend the money. I would buy this again in a heartbeat! If you’re on the fence on deciding, just do it. Your future self with thank you lol. It drastically improves the efficiency of meal prep and cooking I love the expandable countertop which is very easy to adjust up/down. It rolls sooo smoothly on the tile floor and even when I need to move it into the carpeted dining room the wheels and locks don’t get caught on the carpet. My engineer-minded 8 year old did most of the assembly with only minimal assistance interpreting instructions and repositioning screw/drill angles. It took him about 4 hours. If I did it on my own I’d guess it would’ve taken closer to 2 hours. And using a drill made it go faster. For the functionality that it adds to my tiny space, the cost is definitely worth it! The only reason is say it’s 4.5 STARS is because the silver rotating pieces that rotate into the screw keeping the countertop flush with the walls of the island come loose frequently which is inconvenient and a bit annoying. But a simple retightening with the provided screw driver does the trick. I found that when rolling it around if I push/pull the towel rack or the shelf on the side instead of pushing/pulling on the countertop itself it doesn’t loosen as frequently. The towel rack and side shelf seem much more secure for maneuvering the island around. Pros: -perfect for small space -easy to roll around to accommodate ever changing space needs -multifunctional providing both storage and more countertop space -kids can eat in the kitchen -simple assembly with good instructions -all needed tools provided(although a drill did make assembly faster) Cons: -often have to retighten the silver rotating pieces that keeps the countertop flush with island walls.

Accurate instructions
It took two evenings and about 14 swear words to put this thing together. Lol. The instructions can be overwhelming at first, but if you follow them carefully (read twice before assembling) I think you will be OK. I got about halfway through before I realized that I had put in a piece backwards, but I already decided I was too far along to back track so I kept going. So far I haven’t noticed a difference. I will say that it looks really nice in my kitchen, however, the flip up extender doesn’t sit flush with the countertop. But I think it might be operator error… or the fact that I only paid $100 for this. I mainly needed it for storage and a place to prep food, and I think it will be just fine for both of those! Overall, I like it and I’m proud of myself for putting it together. I love how every piece was labeled, and you didn’t have to guess about anything.

I would never buy it again
I do enjoy how handy this cart is in my kitchen, but it is not as good as expected. There is a lot of storage in the cart, but the top drawer does not open and close smoothly. The cabinet doors below do not meet cleanly as shown in the site photo. There is a space, as others have noted. The wheels aren't great, and it is not that easy to move once you put your supplies inside it. We can't use the drop leaf because one of the springs is damaged and falls off the hinge. We requested a replacement part four weeks ago and have not received it. I don't think this cart will last very long, and I wish I had spent a little more money on a better piece of furniture. I bought this design specifically for the drop-leaf and I can't use it because of the damaged spring. I may never get to use it. It has been frustrating dealing with customer service. UPDATE: I did receive a replacement cart, which features some good design improvements. The drop leaf piece now has a trigger mechanism underneath which makes it easy to put the drop leaf down. So, the cart I have now is very functional. With this major improvement and a few others, this cart is a decent value for the money. It was also much easier to assemble, thanks to improved instructions and part labeling. It took only two hours to put together as opposed to nearly four maddening hours with the first cart.

Not for longevity.
Do not recommend! Very cheaply made and flimsy. Also didn't come with enough screws so I had to buy some of the same size. You definitely don't get a bang for your buck type of island. But I needed a counter space so it works for that for now. But The top is a cheap laminate film over particle board. Not for longevity. I guess its my fault for not purchasing a more expensive island. If I could give it zero stars I would. The doors on this thing flex inward if you lightly press them in at the bottom. They are not structurally sound. The island has tipped back when leaned on And you can tell its cheaply made by looking at it in person. if I knew i wouldn't have to take this thing apart and do all kinds of work to get it back to the company... I woukd ask for a refund because I have to use this every day and I know the top is not going to look good in a few months of washing it and occasionally scrubbing it. And those doors ... One wrong move and they could break right off. Not worth the money. Find a company that offers real wood and spend a little more. In the end I will end up spending 3x what this costs to replace this island when its not in good shape in a few months. I dont like my furniture to be disposable one use furniture.
