Bought this for my hubby’s Fj. It is way better going through the carwash with this stubby antennae and it looks pretty cool as well. Great sound coming through on his radio and was happy with the quality of it. His base was also dry rotting so I swapped it out also. Works well and fit perfectly. Happy all the way around.

Fit 2012 FJ Cruiser perfectly with a super easy install. I replaced the previous antenna I had and didn't anticipate the greatly improved reception I get with this antenna. Great product!

Shipping was super fast. Came in sooner than the expected delivery date. Install was easy and quick. Only took a few seconds to unscrew the oem one off and screw this one on. Fits my 2010 Toyota FJ cruiser just perfect and it looks good. Reason for four star instead of five is because there is a slight static I'm getting from some of my pre-set stations. It's not always there, but you do notice it once in a while. I don't use AM stations so I can't speak for that. Other than that small issue, this is a great antenna.

I searched through a lot of stubbies for my 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser, and I ended up going with a different copper-wrapped one at first that claimed to have the best reception. When I put it on I lost virtually all AM reception and there was very noticeable decrease in FM range and increase in static. I returned it and went with this one instead. 5 stars, the reception was just as good as the long OEM antenna. FM comes in just as clear as before, even retaining range and clarity on stations from San Diego (I live in LA 2-3 hours away), and just the slightest decrease in AM reception, barely even noticeable. I highly recommend this antenna if you don't want to lose radio reception, and it looks very nice. It takes only 30 seconds to install and there were zero problems with fitting. The only negative point I could bring against it is it has a few little plastic things sticking off it that likely weren't removed or cleaned up from manufacturing, but they are small and only noticeable if you are really looking at it. You could probably clean it up with a razor blade if it really bugs you. But for practical use, this antenna can't be beat.

My original antenna fell off within a week of having my FJ, so I love that this one securely screws in. It has survived the highway and the car wash! I only use Bluetooth so for me this was purely aesthetic and it certainly checks that box. My FJ is a 2013 by the way.

I was kind of on the fence on how I would feel about this just based on some other reviews but I'm very happy with it. I've never had any issues and I've driven across the country without having any issues with my radio. It also has been through the car wash and it's been fine. Happy with my purchase.

This antenna is very good for its size! In fact, it gets better reception than my stock antenna on my '96 Tacoma. Also, I've taken it through many a car washes on my JF Cruiser, and it's still perfect. Definitely recommend.

Great side and fit directly onto existing stock antenna slot. Works fantastic for a couple of weeks but I started to receive interference or distortion while listening to the radio. Swap with OEM antenna and works fine and swap back to the product and drive around the neighbourhood and starting to receive distortion again. Definitely not caused by the radio set but caused by the antenna as I swap with the OEM and found all good. Disappoint as it was a great size in terms of length, quality finished and feels great but operationally unstable.
