While I am not specifically reviewing this mattress I want buyers of Stroebel products to know they do not honor their warranty. I purchased a latex foam mattress manufactured by Stroebel a few years ago and it has sagged to the point of being uncomfortable and very unsightly. The sagging even shows when I have my down filled duvet on top of the mattress. The mattress has a non-prorated warranty on it as quoted from their website, "Accordingly we offer 5-year non-prorated/20 prorated warranty on Supple-Forma mattresses, and 10-year non-prorated/30 prorated warranty on Supple-Pedic 3000, 4500, and 6000 models." I have contacted Stroebel twice and have not had any type of response from them. I highly recommend refraining from purchasing any of their products due to their lack of response in standing behind not only their products, but their promise also.

Fabulous waterbed matress.
The fool who gave a one star rating doesn't even have a waterbed mattress. He's mad because his foam mattress sagged after a while. This is a primary reason to get a waterbed, they NEVER sag. They may have other issues, but sagging is not one of them. This Strobel was obtained to replace a seventeen year old waterbed mattress that was way overdue for replacement. Strobel demonstrates that waterbeds have come a long way in the interim. The shoulders of the mattress come right up to the hardside frame, so there's no rolling off (or into) the edge. The mattress is deep enough to rise above the frame, which means you won't find yourself lying or rolling across the hard frame when you enter or exit the bed. Unless you're Godzilla, you shouldn't feel your knee contacting the underlayment either. The material is the thickest available, 25 mm. We got the DW, which has a secondary vinyl containment for additional protection of the primary as well as providing a thin air layer to slightly insulate your body from the water. You will want a quality "California" mattress pad. Because the mattress is built 9 inches thick (or tall) the pad must be cut generously to fit, thus the "California" designation. The wife and I honestly love this bed, we keep it around 84 degrees F.The only negative thing I have to say is that there is a pungent vinyl odor for about a month after the mattress is installed. In my experience, this odor came up and surrounded me for the first few minutes lying on the bed, then I became acclimated to it and was able to fall asleep. Fortunately, this is only a temporary impediment, like new car smell. Some people, however, have real issues with chemical smells and may find this a deal breaker. We are glad we saw it through, and can now enjoy a good nights sleep with no soreness, etc.
