I’m really glad that I got this mat. We recently moved into a house with hardwood floors and we decided to get this mat to save them. We really loved the tribal design and the fact that its nonslip.

A couple of things to note…Mine also came out of the box with folded creases and would not lie flat even with weight on it. I hung it and steamed it with a small personal steamer and it came out completely flat. Steaming only took 10 minutes. This is the 35 x 57 for scale. This is a chair mat and not a full rug. It is not as heavy as a rug and you’re not paying the price for a rug that size. I will eventually get a larger rug under the full desk. This works perfectly for now in saving my floors and looks great in the room. It is a better looking pattern than any others I’ve found. My chair moves easily over it.

Perfect size for corner desk. Subtle colors blend well with my decor. Stays clean and in place - haven’t tripped over it yet!

I purchased this mat to replace a plastic carpet protector underneath my work chair (protects carpet from damage from rollers).This does have a layer underneath however it feels flimsy and I still need to determine whether it actually protects the carpet from the chair.What I didn't like is that it does not grip the carpet in the way the previous plastic mat does, so it tends to slide around as you move the chair forward and back from the desk. You will need to reposition the mat once or twice a day as it tends to move forward (and in my case starts to bunch up against my desk on one side or the other).

This rug stays in place, I do not roll off the edge of it, as I did with the ancient plastic floor protector, and the wheels do not make noise when I move the chair now, which is appreciated during talks or long meetings on Zoom. I love the feeling of a rug, as I do just now, as I write, and the abstract pattern is better looking than I thought it would be, the colors suit me to a T. I did not comment on durability, it's so new. But I am hopeful. Thank you!

This is in no way an "Office Chair Mat", it's a cheap area rug. It comes folded, takes forever to flatten, and bunches up as you roll over it. I even have upgraded wheels on my office chair, which roll over the floor much easier than the stock black plastic ones. Still, this rug bunches up under my chair. The best I can say is that it is good-looking and would make a decent rug for under a small table or something of that nature, but if you are looking for a chair mat that lets you roll your chair around, this is not it.

This rug is awful I work from home and I have hard wood floors... I ordered the rug so my chair does not scratch them well let just say everything you try to move your chair the rug just gets all bunched up and stuck in the rollers of the chair. It's a pain in the ass. Once you wash this it's never the same and gets worse.

I purchased 2 of these rugs. The size is perfect and the color fits my office. The issue I have is that while it is to be anti-slip, you can see what 10 minutes of me being in my office chair at my desk will do.I have to keep getting up to flatten out the rug.

Pretty - but it does NOT stay flat, and my chair's wheels kept catching the edge of the mat and I had to lift up my chair and flatten it back.It also kept moving because nothing was holding it down (the back of the mat had some rubbery material but it wasn't enough, especially when nothing is keeping the shape). I got so fed up and went back to the thinner / cheaper one and I'm happy.This does NOT work if you're trying to use it as your office chair mat.

The rug came in folded so it's very wrinkly. Had over 200 pounds in bar bell plates sitting on it for over a week to flatten it without any success
