Hello! Some people like to do things themselves even if it is the first time. That is what Amazon is for.So, in this world where people DO try to do things THEMSELVES, it would be nice if you provided some instructions. I mean really, the Southeast Asian illustrations that show you everything but what you NEED to know to use the tool just DON'T cut it.For me it is Cimple. Stay away from anything marked with Cimple.I gave you two stars simply because the tool is sturdy. I am just ticked off that I had to figure it out myself and seek help from other sources because of your Cimple lack of providing instructions.

I ordered this tool to add compression fittings on RG-6 for my satellite system. It is clearly well built and quite sturdy. But it is a mystery as to how to use it. Do I need to strip the insulation off end of coax, or just put the whole end into the connector? And, how to adjust the setting screw for best results? I figured out that the business end of the coax goes into the fitting toward the center of the tool, but that's about all. No instructions with tool, none on web site. There are some tiny pictures on the web site that cannot be deciphered.

Garbage. Pure and simple. It simply does not work very well. The adjustment screw is flimsy, tool doesn't evenly compress, etc. etc. Can you make a RG6 fitting? Well... sort of. Fitting is uneven and a professional would laugh at this otherwise simple task this tool is supposed to accomplish. Rather than repeat every other low rating comment... ditto. Don't waste your money.

I have a RG6 crimper that I would not want to replace but this crimper adjusts sizes all the way to RG11. RG11 is what I use it for and it works right every time. No complaints here.
