Will this work fine with a laptop requiring 65w power? Also, does my windows laptop require display link driver?

my pc has an hdmi and dp 1.4a out. is there a way to get this to input thru the kvm switch as a usb c in?

While docked, can I use the computer when the laptop is closed?
