This was bought to repair a split in 2 of my water butts in my garden. I noticed the floor was getting wet for no reason so I drained the butts and found both had a split in the same place. Obviously a manufacturing defect that had given way. I cleaned and dried the area inside and out ready to apply this tape. The tape is very easy to cut and sticks really well. Plenty of grab as soon as it makes contact with the material you're applying it to. The water butts are now holding water again and hopefully should stop the split from opening up again.

Easy to use, and so far appears to be adhering well. Have only used so far for small patching jobs.As an aside, wear gloves when using. The gum is hard to get of your hands.

I bought this tape to patch-repair my dad’s tarpaulin covered garage roof.All I can say is, Thank Goodness for this tape!!!!It is soooo easy to use!I really didn’t want my dad up the ladders (he’s 82!) so I was dreading the job, however easy some people told me it would be.I managed to repair the roof using spare tarpaulin & fixing it in place with this wonderful weatherproof sealing tape.I was so pleased I’d managed to do it. It saved me turning my back and finding my dad up on the blooming roof!🤯I managed to secure the full 19 feet of the patch job!! As they say, ‘Jobs a good ‘en!’I can also honestly say that this tape is definitely watertight!! All the blooming rain we’ve just had has really tested it to its extreme!So far, so good!

I had a small split in a cistern which only held about 20cms depth of water so very little pressure on it. I did a temporary fix with Duck tape while I waited for next day delivery of this “ Special” tape to arrive. When it did I removed my tape and dried the cistern surface then affixed this tape and let the water back, it immediately leaked, tried another piece with same result. I removed and replaced it with the Duck tape which again stopped leak so will give me time to get a new cistern fitted. Hardly any tack/stickiness on this tape despite the advert showing it sealing a gushing hole in a tank. Do not waste your money. Rating should be minus stars.

Sealed the ridge of my aluminum and fiberglass shed. Applied it on the warm day and it stuck well and easily.Sticks so well you have to get it right 1st time. I wouldn't like to try and get it off again.
