Life saver, thank god!
The moment the vet told me that my cat would need to wear a cone for a week to stop him from bothering some stitches on his arm I felt nothing but despair. Neville wouldn't like the Cone of Shame. He didn't even have it on yet but I knew it wouldn't go down well for either of us... and lo and behold, I was right! He had it off twice in about 5 minutes, then when I managed to get it to stay on he woke me up in the middle of the night stress-panting and off it came again...This watermelon donut has been a life saver. He wasn't overly impressed with it when I first put it on, and he did try to unsuccessfully dislodge it a few times in the first couple of minutes, but he's now accepted his new friend and I don't have to worry about him disrupting his stitches! It's very soft and not heavy at all, I would highly recommend this!!

Comfortable for cats
My cat is overgrooming, and we've tried various things, including a full body suit, which unfortunately she soiled, so it had to be chucked! This is fab. Easy to put on, machine washable, and soo cute! She hasn't seemed to notice she's even got it on!! She grooms it which is really sweet, and cannot reach her sores, so they are healing. She's a bit of a fatty and this fits her perfectly.Highly reccomend!

Runs large & can’t return it
I have a regular sized cat. She is neither teeny tiny, nor is she super huge. She is distinctly average (sorry Sheila!)So, after she was spayed, I ordered a size medium pineapple cat recovery collar, but it’s way too big for my medium-sized cat. Weird huh? It looks great, is really soft & seemingly well made, but Sheila can get out of it within seconds, even when it’s squeezed as tightly as it will go around her average-sized cat neck.No problem, I thought. I’ll return it and swap it for a smaller size. But wait a minute, there’s a twist in the tale because RETURNS ARE NOT ACCEPTED!!! Rude.Granted I didn’t check the return status when I pressed ‘buy’ last night, but now I’m stuck with a pudgy cat necklace for a non-pudgy cat with Houdini-like tendencies. It’s a dark day.

Would have been great if he didn't have itchy ears
Our cat recently had to have both of his eyes removed (enucleation) due to glaucoma. He couldn't tolerate the traditional cone at all, so we needed alternatives. This was the second best option for us.During the first couple of weeks there's a big risk of them pulling their stitches out, so he couldn't be left on his own for longer than a few minutes. Getting this collar on was a breeze, and he found it comfortable enough to sleep in. He didn't really seem to notice it was even there once it was on.Where it didn't work for us was taking it off. He also has itchy ears at the moment (due to start treatment as soon as his eyes have healed), and most of the time they're fine, but if you aggravate them then it starts the itching. This happened in a big way when we tried to remove this collar, because due to the shape of cats' heads it's a tighter fit coming off than it is going on.He wasn't able to kick at his ears whilst wearing it though, and he couldn't get at his eyes either. If his ears had been in a better state then I think this one might have been our winner, but if your cat has itchy ears then I'd recommend the velcro cone one made by the same company. With both options, I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving him on his own wearing it for an extended time, simply because if he did catch it on something then there's no quick release and I'd worry about him choking. But for use on journeys and for leaving him on his own for a few minutes at a time, I'd recommend it.

Ideal for small cats
We have a small (<3kg) and tenacious cat. After quite a serious operation she easily removed the provided cone, the alternative sizes provided, and struggled so much against DIY paper-plate / sticky tape fall-back so we were worried about the hard edge. So this was a God send. Soft and light, and with a drawstring so it fits securely without a hard edge. It was also easier for her to eat/drink than a conical one. Cat wore it for a month (eventually) without fuss.It was great for us, but there are two caveats:- We had to tie a knot in the drawstring, because it will give under the pressure from a tenacious cat that figured out forcing the collar through small gaps would loosen it.- Because it's soft and flat, rather than hard and conical, not all stitches/wounds are out of reach. So I would recommend watching for a few hours to make sure your cat cannot reach the injury site.

Didn't work for back injury
My tiny cat has quite a large wound on his back end and unfortunately this wasn't wide enough to stop him getting at it :( It goes on well and he wasn't at all bothered by it, unlike the cone, but it's not worked in this instance.

Good, comfy for the kitty :)
Good fit for a 5kg cat. He can sleep on it as well unlike the plastic cone where he struggled to get a good position to sleep or nap in. Have stuck it in the washing machine twice now and the colour is still fine and still plump.

Best Cone Ever!
My cat doesn't even really mind wearing this! It's super cute and way more comfortable than a plastic cone, I'm sure!

Perfecto
Es lindo, llegó un día antes y no le incomoda. Como este gato se lame mucho se está quedando pelón, así que queríamos conseguirle un cono pero este es mucho mejor. Al principio quiso quitárselo pero se acostumbró rápidamente. Totalmente recomendado!!

Adorable and soft
My kitten is small but not medium she weighs 4.5 lbs is a total spaz. She only got this off one time. I ordered small and it fit her well. The soft fabric made rubbing on her incision less abrasive so it can heal vs vet cone which she was also able to get it off once as well and it rubbed incision much more abrasively. I wish it was wider around bc she is able to push cushion down to lick but was unable to do this with her vet cone since it is stiffer on end. If it were slightly wider it would prevent that but then it might be too heavy or large for a kitty neck. Finding cones that work for kittens is extremely difficult and I’ve fostered tons of kittens. No matter the cone they eventually can kick it off. I foster bottle babies so they tend to be smaller and I’ve tried the body suits but smalls are too small and medium is way too large so cones are normally my only option. I loved this bc it’s soft, fit her tiny body, allows her to eat and drink better than stiffer vet cones. I wish you could also tuck in the string that tightens neck area bc kittens love to bite and chew a string. I safety pinned it to back side of collar, not ideal but it works. Overall for kittens this was a cute option and worked as well as any other cone for kittens since they are master body contortionists. For me this was a great purchase and zero regrets.
