My wife first discovered the electric nail trimmer tool from a top 10 must-have list for newborns from a YouTube channel. We definitely needed this after hearing traumatic stories of cutting delicate newborn fingernails. This is the only grooming/first-aid kit that we found on Amazon that includes the electric nail filer AND at a great price. We got the 24 piece set in green, which looks like a few more items and a more organized bag for just a dollar more than the 18 piece set.We tested the trimmer on ourselves since it also works on adults. The adult settings on adult nails do a great job. Also tried the 0-3 month setting and it doesn't hurt when it comes in contact with the skin on our fingers. It's a bit loud, so definitely not silent, and it sounds like it's going really fast but it's really fine so it grinds away only a bit at a time so you can't go too deep accidentally.All the other items look well made too and are pretty essential for first time parents. Don't know what the tiny scissors are for though lol. And wife will probably use the regular emery boards for herself (not the baby).

Soo, the overall of the kit was good. You get an electric nail file plus other essentials for baby. It’s nice considering the average electric file alone goes for around this same price. Regarding the quality of the products, they remind me of something I would buy out of the dollar mart toy section. The bristles on the brush are a bit harsh compared to others. I believe the nasal aspirator and medicine dropper don’t have much suction. Overall it’s a decent kit for what it’s worth. Like I said before I bought it mainly for the electric file and after comparing prices with other products I decided on this one given how much I would get for the same amount of money. The electric file worked amazing though, I was able to file down my baby’s nails in no time, the newborn file is soft but will get the job done without hurting baby’s finger which was really nice. Although after a couple uses the lower settings stopped working on the electric file.The box itself was really cute as well, lowkey didn’t want to throw it away.Overall it’s decent for what your paying, but if you want quality don’t expect much from this one.

Great value compared to other sets on amazon. I’m glad I changed my mind and spent the extra $5. Also the electric nail file you can use on adults as well. As a soon to be mom I can appreciate some me time and do my nails. Also the little bag it comes with is cute, wasn’t expecting that

What can I say? The only thing I liked about this product was the packaging. All contents feel really cheap, so cheap that I feel like they might break just holding them. Kinda like dollar tree toy quality to me. This kit actually feels like a child’s play kit.Hair brush bristles are waaaayyy too rough for a baby’s head.Medicine dropper has ZERO suction. Nasal Aspirator has a little bit more suction, but not enough to do its job in my opinion.But the biggest let down, by far, is the electric nail trimmer... which was the item I was mainly looking forward to. It is like the other items (cheaply made), and I can hear something rattling around inside it ( I don’t think that is normal).I guess its ok for the price, if you don’t mind all that... but honestly not sure how long it will hold up.
