Edit: The seller has given me a refund with my displeasure with the product. I am very happy to have this experience with this seller and would overall recommend this brand, if not solely for the customer service! My window to return has closed, so my loss is hopefully your gain. Garbage product, might work initially, but the battery drains quickly. A genuine battery (or buying it at a physical store) will be your best bet. On the plus side, it fit perfectly back in the laptop!

***Yet another update*** after the last update I was contacted by the seller asking what they could do to make it right. After being offered a refund, I just asked for another battery. I had chosen this one based of of reviews and for the most part they were great. Customer service was outstanding and I can't wait to get the new battery. My laptop is my lifeline for work. I greatly appreciate them reaching out and trying to make things right. ***Update*** it's about 5 weeks since I installed the new battery and I'm right back where I started. As soon as I unplug my laptop from the charger, it dies again. Can't say I recommend this at all. Worked perfect for my Toshiba Satellite. Easy installation. My laptop would instantly shut off every time it was unplugged. Switched out the battery and it's as good as new.

I installed the battery and went through the charge and discharge cycles as instructed. For a week or two it held a charge and provided several hours on a single charge. I was super happy. Then, after 3 weeks, the reported capacity went to under two hours and it lost the charge at a faster rate and I don’t even get a full two hours. Unfortunately, the return window just closed so I’ll have to recycle it at Staples and start over. I did not believe the negative reviews, in hopes that they were from people that didn't install it right. Don’t make the mistake I did…

Did not last very long, had to buy a replacement within a year.. Sell a better product.
