A friend and I have been greeting people after showings of SOUND OF FREEDOM to provide additional info, and a resource handout. However, the 2-min. gap (just before special message by Caveiza) has very loud music. The GM of the theater allowed us to start using a Megaphone. I picked this one for the price, the fact that it had a separate microphone, and also because I could receive it the next morning. WOW! It works so perfect and perfectly meets our need.1) It has enough volume to speak to a large room over music from the film.2) Comes with a rechargeable battery + a holder for AA batteries. We just recharge each time and keep it fresh, but have AA batteries on standby just in case. Oh, and the rechargeable battery can plug directly into any outlet (plug built in).3) It can record a message up to 240S. My friend has recorded his message this way. Also -- it has the option to endlessly repeat the message if needed.4) It even has option for USB thumb drive input (and includes a 4GB thumb drive in the box). I am trying to figure out how to use it, but I think it will allow several messages, songs, etc. (The only negative I have is it comes with a single page of directions. Most of the details are clear, but I wish I had more details for use with thumb drive.)I sometimes hold leaders advanced screenings for upcoming faith films, and this will come in handy since sometimes those are in very large auditoriums and some theaters do not provide a microphone.So let me just say -- I am VERY VERY happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone needing a medium-range megaphone.

I use this product for talking to hard of hearing people at work. It’s very effective and it can be turned down so it is not overwhelming for the person. It has a built in charger that is easy and impossible to lose. Very good value for the money

Great for at home playing. There is no trigger to use the mic. So when it’s on the mic stays on so you have to constantly turn it off or on. Not the best for an event or someone who’d like a trigger to use the mic. Overall, it’s loud and portable and love that it has a chargeable battery!

I have an old megaphone I keep by the bed. I am mobility disabled and if I need help at night the fam cannot hear me. Wanted a rechargeable unit and the grandkids wanted the old one. No problem. Ha ha, until I tried it on "medium" volume. Wowee, this thing is loud! Can't wait for a burglar and I'll hit him with the alarm at full volume before the big super-bright flashlight ( a separate item from the megaphone) goes in his eyes!

At first, this horn was great. It was loud and did exactly what I needed it to. Then the playback function quit working. All that currently works is the siren. I downloaded text to speech files to the included USB drive, so I can play a pre-work stretch routine for my employees. This worked well for 2 months until the horn quit working.

Love this thing, whether I’m at the beach with my kids and need to redirect them or the reason I bought it for being a bartender and calling lastcall haha love that the charger stays hidden within it, perfect size with a folding handle. Brought on a kayak trip and put it in my backpack. It’s loud as hell and has lots of settings. Record, siren, usb hook up . Great product

Exactly as described and just what we needed at the right price

Good quality, meets all my needs for a bull horn, powerful enough (any louder would be way too much for my purposes), and a huge bonus is that it can be powered by either a rechargeable battery or by disposable batteries. The price is right. Other similar products are valued too high- if not for the reasonable price of this bull horn I would not have purchased one here through Amazon.My purpose for buying it: to speak to neighbors in back yard at distance of about 200ft.
