If you or your electrician cannot follow electrical or electronic schematics, you are in for a hard time. The person I hired to put the fan in could not figure out the wiring diagram. I used to repair electronics, so the diagrams made sense to me.The part that was most confusing to the installer was the fan required a direct unswitched hot leg so the fan could come on automatically if the box heated up to a preset temperature due to the heat from the lamps. So, we had to run extra wire for an unswitched leg.It really kicks out a lot of heat which my wife loves after a shower. So far, we love it.

The switches provided have push in slots for the bare wires. However the slots are to big to secure 14 gauge wire or even 12 gauge wire. My electrician had both a double rocker switch (used for the heat lamps) and a triple rocker switch (used for the vent, the light, and existing lights over our sinks), so we didn't have to change out our 2 switch box to a 3 switch box. He had to cut the existing sheetrock on the ceiling to secure the vent hose, and at the wall/ceiling junction above our existing switch box (to feed 2 sets of 14-3 wire). Screwed the cut sheetrock back in place and taking my time, I was able to tape, texture and refinish the cut pieces to where even my wife was impressed with the job I did.As far as the switches that come with the unit, my electrician said just throw them away. They are worthless. They don't even have a manufacturer or country stamp on them. I think they are manufactured in some third world hellhole. Aside from the switches, the unit is great.

This unit was replacing a Broan bath light/vent fan combo unit. The main thing I was looking for was a new unit that would also supply heat. We settled on the heat lamp units because we wanted instant heat. The Aero Pure A716B was one of the few out there that had multiple heat lamps, a supplemental bath lamp, and an exhaust fan. I installed the fan in a few hours with the help of an electrician. The instructions included in the packaging were adequate, but not great. The electrician's only complaint was that one nut he had to remove was metric (I'm not sure if this means everything else was SAE).We have been using the unit for a few days and are very happy with the purchase.

So far, we LOVE this unit. The heat lamps are wonderful and the fan is quiet. This unit comes with a white switch plate with 4 small toggle switches: 2 heat lamps, 2 heat lamps, light, fan. So you can use 2 or 4 heat lamps!

Takes the chill out of the bathroom on cold winter mornings. Great product at a reasonable price. Easy to install.
