Not totally heat resistant
Only ONE reviewer showed where it was scorched when they used this mat?? So, I purchased it anyway thinking it was an anomaly with this product. Well, low and behold, I’m having the same issue.I primarily use the large burner on the right side of my Samsung stove. When I use it to boil pots of water, I put the setting on “high”. That’s where the problem lies. As you can see in the photo, the flame dips down and almost touches the mat. Why it happens here could be due to the larger opening on that side of the ring of the burner compared to the others.So, if I turn down the settings to about 3/4 , the flame doesn’t burn the mat.I’ll keep the mat knowing to use a lower setting since there’s no other product out there to keep my stove easy to clean.Also some folks complain about it not laying flat. Lay it out, lay a box on it on your counter for a day. Then put your iron on about a nylon setting and iron it out while on a flat counter. It’ll take out the last bit of curl. Be patient.Pros are that it fits my Samsung stove, and I should be able to clean my cooktop without a lot of trouble.

Not great fit
Per measurements it should have fit better. I had to trim around the burner stems so it would lay flat and it doesn’t reach each side. About 1” gap. Kind of dissatisfied… but see how performs I guess.

It fits. I stuck it in the dishwasher to clean, and, yes, the stove was easier to clean overall.

Love it
I purchased this for my stove to prevent spills directly on the stove. It is serving that purpose well. I stick it in the dishwasher and it comes out very clean. I also purchased the oven liner for my gas stove.Love both items. Highly recommend.

Good but it does not fit bigger gas stoves
Make sure to ready measurements and description before buying for your stove as it it runs small and it did not fit my stove. However, the material is great I wish it was bigger
