I have a husband who loves to sleep in 62 degree temps. In a Michigan winter that makes for a pretty cold house. I enjoy cooler temps too, but not THAT cold. I did pile on the blankets for myself, but it took a long time to get warm. I bought this electric blanket-twin, so he isn't covered by it, lol. Oh such bliss! I was nice and warm right away. I could set it to where I was comfortable without over heating. I also didn't need to wear socks to bed anymore! I'm not using it right now, as it's currently summer. I may add to this review after it cools down again outside, and when I wash it.

I ordered the blanket for my sister. She was scheduled for a knee surgery, and she was preparing for post operation situations. One of them was to have a light blanket to keep her warm in the unusually cold SoCal winter weather.I had the blanket delivered to her house and as soon as she received it, she tried it and quickly replaced the thick and heavy blanket on her bed.She could not stop talking about how light it is, not weighing down her knee and that it is enough to keep her warm through the night.My brother seems to be interested in getting one for his wife.

After receiving an $845.00 heating bill I had to come up with something different. I bought two of these blankets and the gentle heat and warmth keeps us comfortable throughout the cold and chilly nights. I wish I had thought of purchasing these before the gas company drained my bank account. I am totally satisfied with these blankets.

The blanket is super soft as advertised. The heat distribution is interesting and not as uniform as one would expect but I dont usually need it to be all that consistent so it works for me. The one thing I found odd was that the label on the product is large and sewn on the blanket on the side with the longer fluff. I would prefer it to be on what I would consider the under side of the blanket but again, its just an observation not a problem with the blanket. The part I really dont love about it is that it is not really easily washed. The wash instructions are really specific and there is no indication that the blanket could be put in a front load washer even for a limited time as specified on the label. So far, I have just cleaned any spots with a damp washcloth and hopefully it wont be soiled in a way that would make it so I would need to wash the whole thing since the instructions are so specific! The other aspect of the blanket I dont love is that it becomes disconnected from the power source so easily. Even though there is a "locking" function at the connector, it comes apart so easily as to make me wonder if it is a defect in the blanket I got or if its meant to disconnect by a simple movement that pulls slightly on the connection. Overall, I think its a decent purchase and can recommend it as a warm blanket.

Quit heating in first winter of use

Very soft and comfortable, heated blanket. It heats up quickly and has many different settings. Very satisfied with this product.

The cord from to the controller to the plug on the blanket is short by several feet.This restricts where the controller can be located. No one wants to leaning over the side of the bed looking for the controll unit at midnight.

Certain parts of blanket doesn't heat up as other parts but it works!

I wanted to wait till I washed it before I rode a review. Once I plugged it in it barely got warm. Just less than touching someone's forearm. But when I put another blanket over top. It heated up extremely quick.This blanket is good for lying in bed. But not so much on the couch because you need to put another over top. But once you have another blanket over it it gets very hot. I had it on high with a quilt over top. And ended up having two pea size holes melted because it got too hot.I don't suggest going above medium if you do put another blanket over top. and do Not fold it over itself. Washing is easy. You put it on gentle or let it soak by hand then put on spin. For drying I usually turn the dryer on for 5 minutes then toss it in on tumble. I've also put it on extremely low for a bit. But the idea is not to get it hot because it could melt in your dryer. washed it twice, still held up.

Bought this as a gift for my niece since she has fibromyalgia and she loves it.Says that it helps a bit with her condition when she has a flare up and just keeps her toasty warm in general.Super soft as well and it doesn't get unbearably hot either.Highly recommended!

I like this blanket; colour, warmth (without turning the heat on). The reason I gave a four star rating is because the highest setting is not as warm as I would like. My heated throw heated quicker and warmer at the highest setting.

I am now toastie warm. Delivered when it was supposed to be

This blanket for $56 CAD is a good deal! I put this under my duvet and it heats up very warm. On it’s own with no blanket on top you can’t really feel a lot of heat
