Provides Me 30 Additional Local TV Stations
After cutting the (cable TV) cord, I added a few streaming channels, but was still missing a few local channels, but thanks to this antenna got them back for free. It took me just a couple of minutes to install. Of course they are not all in full HD and everything is a little bit slower than cable or streaming, but it also supports a channel guide, which is very helpful. I my area and with the antenna close to the window, I've been able to get 30 channels with long range setting. With short range only about 20. Inside with the antenna right in the back of the TV it was still about 20 channels. Interestingly it seems it doesn't matter if the antenna is placed in horizontal or vertical manner. Overall a straight forward installation with not many problems. Finding out, how to scan over-the-air stations after 6 years of cable TV was the biggest challenge. Since the power adapter is only 0.2A, I decided to use one of the built-in USB ports in the TV instead and seems to work reliable till now.Overall I'd say it's a good, complete set, even with pins and tape to secure the antenna, a long antenna cable and USB power adapter.

Scanned in only 9 channels :(
I was so excited to get this new antenna. Our old one went out and I was missing the only news channel I watch. After seeing the great reviews, I just knew this one would also have that channel plus way more. We moved it around our house for two days. No luck. After moving and scanning, we finally now have only nine channels, minus the one I really wanted. The one I wanted is Broadcasted in a town only 45 miles away. It should of has no problem. It is what it is, but I can’t say I’m completely satisfied. Especially after I read so many great reviews. I guess at least I have nine. I normally am not a review writer, but I wanted to share my experience just in case it could help someone.
