I'm impressed. The video shows plastic shavings on a silicone mat. The silicone grips those shavings, making it nearly impossible to brush them off. Because of how sticky the silicone is, I had to make quite a few passes over it with the vacuum but it cleaned it very well. Other surfaces clean up easily with one pass. The rattle sound you hear is because there are already some plastic bits in the vacuum.Con: Cleaning - It was really hard to open the first time. You need to unscrew it about an 1/8 of a turn then the two pieces will come apart. It got easier to open after a few times.

I used it to clean the access seeds out of the bottom of the bird cage. I am glad that they came up with something like that. for years I could never get the remainder of the seed that was left. I just love that little thing.I find that it is also very easy to clean it when I am finished with it. Thank you for finally coming up with something to clean bird cages and crumbs on the table.
