Q: Can this be used on textured auto dashboards, for mounting aftermarket backup display?

I couldn't think of anything better to use. As long as the surface is clean this will stick and stay in place. The foam core also allows this to curve and adhere to contours nicely.

Q: What is the temperature range for this tape?

I do not know. I live in Ohio so it withstands below zero temperatures. There is no problem with temperatures reaching as high as 90 degrees.

Q: Can this be used to stick a small magnet on an aluminum trunk and a ill it hurt the paint when removed?

I believe the 3m double side will hold your magnet. It is very strong tape. To remove you would have to use heat and removing liquid. I had an emblem on the gas tank of my Harley and had to remove it and put a new one on the tank after getting all the old 3m off the paint was just fine. This is very strong tape. The emblem was about 6 inches by 3 inches. Hope this helps you.
