Others said it got too hot for them. I found the opposite. It was like warm at best. I soaked my dipped powder nails one hand at a time for 30 minutes, rubbing my nails on the pad. I needed to run my electric file machine over the nails to get the remaining dip off. I personally found the entire process way too tedious. I could accomplish the same process using a bowl of hot water under a bowl of acetone.

I was ready to give up doing dip powder I have tried many things to remove. I purchased another unit that heats up the nail polish remover actually hurt my fingers. this actually works great with ease. I am not sure why it works so well. But glad that it does!

It’s okay. I discovered you really have to file down your nails on the surface, which I was trying to avoid, in order to speed up an otherwise long soaking process. I do like the oil in the willopen, but contrary to the packaging card in the box, the company doesn’t sell refills or replacements. Misleading and disappointing.

I do my own dip powder nails and was looking for a faster removal process. My go to was a bowl of hot water with a smaller bowl of acetone floating inside. I placed my finger tips in the smaller bowl. No matter how careful I was, I always made a mess and it took 20 - 30 mins for both hands. This makes it easier for me, zero spills or sloshing and only takes about 15 mins for both hands.

If you’re a first time do it yourself nail person this is the perfect product. The solution is not hot but warm enough to quickly remove any gel product, especially dip and more. I prefer it over the clip on removal appliqué.

If you file down the top with a manual nail filer, it takes roughly an hour to soak off acrylic nails, probably a bit sooner for gel nails. It warms the acetone up within 15mins of being on.
