The little plastic frame of my SPDIF port broke, and I have had to connect my soundbar with an unstable Bluetooth connection since.Using this, I was finally able to use the port again, even with that little plastic frame on my PC completely broken and taken out of the port. I spent close to $100 on other connection solutions trying to get around the broken port, but this made it work again, and I am still not entirely sure how it is able to do that.I wish I had found this much sooner, and I highly recommend this product for anyone having issues with a broken SPDIF port.

First time I tried to install a cable in my Samsung TV, I broke the door that holds the optical cable in (a pretty common problem). On of these 90 degree cables and a bit of tape, and I'm in great shape. No degradation in sound quality.

Well, what else can be said, it's an optical cable adapter. I purchased it to use on a wall mounted sound bar. Does what it should and does it well.

I can see why you get three in a pack because one of them doesn't work (no sound). Unlike the one-star review, these fit in the plug just fine.
