Fits my 2001 TJ
Fits close to the OEM unit and looks way better but...You need to do a fair bit of work and will need tools and experience at making your own brackets or modifying the ones that come with this unit. I would suggest a full weekend to do the job properly unless you a proYou will lose your ashtray (97-02) but if you like the OEM look? For about 50 bucks you can replace the old three switch bezel with the four switch bezel (2003 version See photo) from Morris 4x4 centre, this requires drilling two holes and grinding the second power outlet down then modifying spade connectors to connect it but it can be done with a little ingenuity. Or just leave the three switch and use the hole as a storage spot because it looks fine either way.Really realy! happy with the finished look.

Needs modification and ALOT of Tweaking
for something that cost $100 I would expect this to fit better. Does not include new clips had to use the old ones, and the position of 2 of said clip holders was wrong and did not fit my jeep. Included some extra plastic prongs? that had no place to go, thought they were supposed to go where the clips fit in but it was just underneath so we drilled holes for them and eventually had to cut them down. Climate controls need to be pulled forward on this otherwise there will be a big gap around them. Top accessory tray from old dash needs to be reused and plastic welded on to this new one. Wiring harness needs to be solderd to the wiring harness of your new stereo. The adapters to hold the stereo in are cheap plastic. The worst part is there are no directions at all.

Minor design flaw but overall does the job
Overall this dash kit accomplished what I needed - installing a double-din stereo in my 2002 Jeep Wrangler. That dash kit looks nice and matches the rest of the black interior dash parts. The only drawback is that the mounts for the clips that secure the bezel to the dash do not line up. There are a total of four clips (two at the bottom and two near the center of the bezel). The bottom clips line up, but the upper clips do not.The top of the bezel will be secured with screws once you transfer the top tray from the old bezel. The bottom clips will go in, but as the instructions indicate, the fit at the bottom may not be as tight as you want, so you may need to add a couple of discreet screws at the bottom for a snug fit. The combination of top and bottom screws seems to be good enough to overcome the loss of the clips in the middle.
