The media could not be loaded. I wish I would had taken the time to look at the review before this one, as it seems the last reviewer dealt with the same issues. This plane is supposed to be a plug and play. I Received the plane with the motor broke completely off. Very disappointing!! It is a discontinued plane, so I wasn't really looking to send it back. Amazon customer service was unwilling to resolve the issue, as they did, for the last customer. This will be my last hanger 9 product. The covering was severely bubbling, which will require you to have an iron.

Probably won't be ordering another Hangar 9 aircraft. They're great planes, but mine came packaged like nobody gives a crap whether it made it in one piece. Airplane parts tossed in a box and taped down in hopes they wouldn't rattle around... that's the entire packing job. Sharp screw tips from one part pressed against another part damaging the coating, control horns poking clear through the outer box from the inside in three places and damaging other parts inside the box. Motor mount box was completely broke off the fuselage due to lack of support, and having a ton of ballast weights glued to it.Manufacturer warned the exterior coating may get a few wrinkles in storage/shipping.... severe understatement. Super disappointed. $450 plane and could take 40+ hours of work to repair, and it hasn't been out of the box. Worse... they discontinued the model after it was shipped but before it got here. So it can't be replaced. BUT.... Amazon made it right!!! Seriously great customer service! I'm an RC Model person and don't mind working on them... just felt I shouldn't have to pay for the privilege. Amazon rep refunded me a fair percentage of the purchase price for the trouble I have to go through, while allowing me to keep the now discontinued (as in... can't get 'em anymore!) model! Win Win!

It’s a really good plane, flies excellently on 4s 5000mah lipo. Does land faster than foamies. It’s not as floaty and does fly heavy. Using flaperons does slow it down a lot and doesn’t have adverse impact on stall. Very tough plane. I’ve plopped this thing down hard on the maiden and just bent the landing gear.
