Great flavour and really give you a boost
Great product and the taste of the blue raspberry is lovely, product arrived well packaged and sealed, so far I would say it's a very effective product and I have had no side effects, definitely found my brand and will continue to purchase them as the boost to energy and quality ingredients, just make sure you read the description correctly as it had a high strength of caffeine

Strong. Very strong.
When they say advanced they mean it. If you're used to regular gold standard or other pre workouts try 1 or 2 scoops first and DO NOT BE A HERO with the recommended 3 scoops. I genuinely feel like a 2/3 scoop of this is more intense than a double dose of some others I've used. Everyone who I've given some to try has told me that night was sleepless and the workout was intense and focused, and I agree. This let's you push harder than you thought, and the pump is crazy. I recommend if you are used to your regular scoop and feel like you're up to it. Stay hydrated. The taste however, it's safe to say that I won't be tempted to sip on this for the flavour. If the energy it puts into you had a taste, it's this. This tastes like a lightning strike and not in a good way, but the results are worth pushing through it and drinking it fast, if you're at this stage of buying advanced/expensive pre workouts you're probably more than used to bad tasting supplements anyway, but if flavour matters to you, this really is not the one for you.

Its good but just not for me
As a user of ON's normal pre-workout I decided to give this a try, after all it the standard pre workout they do is excellent then I hoped this would excell it - for me that wasnt the case...I have tried both the fruit punch and tropical varieties over the summer - no issues with taste and they mix all well as the original in a shaker bottle.Time for them to kick into action is about the same - 20-25 mins so nothing different there.Unfortunately for me all the positives of the original formula was kinda lost on this cos as good as it is, and I'll be honest and say its good, its perhaps not what I am looking for in a pre workout...The main issue which really stood out for me is the excessive sweating this caused - even before I started working out, and if I was doing a cardio session then the feeling and sweating I got while warming up on the spin bike was bordering on uncomfortable . For some that might be what they want but not myself, I also had a issues with bloating about 5 mins after taking, even tried dialing down the dosage to see if that made a difference to the aforementioned issues I encountered but without success. So I'll stick to the tried and trusted formula of the original for now!

The best pre workout available
I've tried a lot of different pre workouts from popular name brand ones to the random unknown non-label ones and this is the best by far. It's expensive in my opinion for what it is, but you do get what you pay for. The levels of the various active ingredients are pretty high, better than most, so it is decent value for money in that sense. It is less caffeine dependent than most formulations so you get less of the jittery, headachey buzz and crash of other products. It delivers a nice clear alert focused workout after about 20 minutes. You do get a bit of the signature alanine tingles but nothing escessive if you're used to it.It gives a good pump and helps to push through those challenging workouts or early morning sessions we all dread. I'd recommend using sparingly for maximum impact and to not get to acclimatised to it's ingredients.

Where is the rest?
The product is fine, but I think it’s cheeky that this container is so big and you get 1/4 missing. Better of buying the smaller version as you get your moneys worth.

Rocket fuel!
This was my first time trying pre-workout. I've previously avoided it as I've been trying to cut caffeine out of my diet but wanted to try taking my workouts to the next level, if only out of morbid curiosity. I made the mistake of not using enough water when I mixed the powder, so the resulting drink was VERY acidic when I drunk it; Optimum Nutrition recommends mixing one serving of three scoops into 400ml of water and this should be heeded. My body's reaction to taking the supplement was immediate. Within minutes, I was having hot flushes and could not sit still, becoming restless and twitchy. I felt a tiny bit nauseous too but not anywhere near the level where there was even a remote risk that my body wouldn't be able to keep the pre-workout down.Immediately wanting to put this sudden burst of energy to use, I began my workout. I'm a cardio person and my exercise of choice is cycling on the stationary bike, seeing how far I can go in an hour-long ride. As soon as I started peddling, I noticed how light my legs felt and very quickly found myself hitting a fast pace by my own standards. I was able to maintain and even slowly increase this pace for the full duration of my session, smashing my previous PB by half a mile.Pre-workout is not a joke. It definitely increased my performance and I plan on using it semi-regularly as part of my exercise routines in such a way where I do not create a tolerance or dependency on it.
