Novelty item for big Potter fan!
I bought this for myself (not a kid). I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, that being said... I love this item! It has a few different sound light combinations (brighter/flickering) and one that makes it light up for about 20 minutes. I bought Hermione's otter as well and love it just as much! Both are fantastic and to note, will only work with their own wand. Harry's won't turn on Hermione's and vice versa (fun fact lol). Also, the lighting looks SO much better in person than in pictures! I'd say kids might get bored with this depending on how old they are and how much they love Harry Potter. As an adult I love them so much and recommend them!

I’m a Harry Potter nerd, yes I am! and now a mom of 2 Harry Potter fans. This I bought for my little one 4 years old, and he love it. I just explained to him how to used it ones. Is very sturdy, my big guy,10 years old, play with his brother and the toy is still in one piece and working.

JUST GET IT
My son is nutty for potter right now and I was worried that in a tight budget this thing wouldn't have as cool of lights as I hoped or be high quality, but you know kids good luck returning it once they see it it's great. totally worth it.

Something is wrong with mine.
I’m not sure if it’s just mine, but when you press the button on the wand, the sound is really muffled. It sounds strange. But it could be a cute toy if it weren’t for that.
